The classic series, now available in a deluxe omnibus edition! The manga adaptation of the landmark animated series that changed the mecha genre. Each volume contains three of the original graphic novels and includes pages of stunning, full-color art. Once Shinji didn’t care about anything; then he found people to fight for—only to learn that he couldn’t protect them, or keep those he let into his heart from going away. As mankind tilts on the brink of the apocalyptic Third Impact, human feelings are fault lines leading to destruction and just maybe, redemption and rebirth. Review: Introducing Asaka! - This second book in the Evangelion omnibus contains books 4, 5, and six of the manga series. For any Neon Genesis Evangelion anime fan, it is a fun read. From the novel back-to-front read, to the Japanese “sound effects” (there is a glossary for what the sounds mean, if you are that interested!), to the pages of commentary from those who were involved with the television production, this is a necessary companion for anyone wanting to get more out of the Evangelion world. There is a lot that is familiar, but a lot of great additional character development and plots that are not part of the original anime series. I have blasted through both the first and second omnibus books, but am trying to pace my way through because I want to savor it. Most of the content is in black-and-white with some limited full-color pages at book transitions. The books itself has a high-quality cover that will put up with multiple-reads, as I am sure I will put it through! Review: Amazing 🤩

You Are (Not) Bad
Neon Genesis Evangelion, Volume 2. Continuing Volume 1 in the adaption of the magnum opus that was the original 1995 anime. My favorite mecha anime hands down barring none, come on what's a better mecha? Darling in the Franxx? Joking aside, the manga continues the masterful adaption of Hideaki Anno's original work. With great art and beautifully drawn action scenes that do Eva justice. The biggest strength of the manga continues to be the storytelling or how it's not just trying to copy the anime entirely. The manga tells the same story of Shinji getting in the robot but it tells it differently offers more inside in Shinji mentality and feels that the anime just can't do. The Manga also changes the story a bit making for a certain moment in the anime a lot more brutal and dark. The Evangelion manga is well-drawn, dark, and beautiful it's a great adaption and I can't recommend this manga enough. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's adaption is a master class in manga adaptions from original anime.

Great collection!
Got the delivery 5 days earluer than estimated date. Correct item was sent and now I have the complete collection. I was only missing this volume. Great story and great art. Truly a classic. I am pretty sure I ordered new but it seems this was not in shrink wrap and had cornering damage. So be careful when making orders. Copy was affordable.

A Masterpiece Continues to Unfold
One of the standout features of these books is the inclusion of three volumes in one, allowing readers to experience a significant portion of the narrative in a single sitting. This not only enhances the overall flow of the story but also intensifies the emotional impact of key moments. The pacing remains impeccable, ensuring that readers are constantly on the edge of their seats, eager to uncover the mysteries that surround NERV, the Angels, and the Evas.
