4 cars, 4 hours, 1 gallon.
I used an airless Graco paint gun and it worked great. Can apply in tight areas and awkward angles and positions without the need of adapters or extensions.

went on well, is nice and black
Watched a few videos and applied today. Went really well and the black really did make the frame that had light surface rust look nice and black. Happy with the purchase. Live in south so don't expect it will get a good winter and salted road test but confident it will help keep things easy to service and looking good

Really looks nice 24 hours after application, here's some useful tips
Put 4 of the 17.5oz cans on 2 of my vehicles -- each vehicle used 2 cans. Got most everything covered, could probably use another can per vehicle to get almost 100% covered including inside some frame rails. Going to hit the remaining portions when I have them up on ramps -- so 3 cans per vehicle for very good coverage. Don't keep spraying until things "look black" or you will overuse -- just spray as you would the non-black version and the "creeping" will spread the product nicely out after about 24 hours.Warning: make sure to cover up - like wear a hoodie & gloves. A filtered painting make is probably also a good idea. Also do not apply in a closed space -- do it outdoors.I see NNKH on YouTube use Blaster products all the time, so this time I switched from Fluid Film, plus great price for 6x17.5oz cans.

So far so good.
The media could not be loaded. Great product! Covered the frame well and looks jet black now.

Better than Fluid Film
This is good stuff and will not wash off as easy as Fluid Film. I've applied it many times and have been very happy with its performance. It's not as thick as Fluid Film so it pours and sprays easier - no need to heat it up. I also can't stand the smell of FF, Surface Shield has almost a pleasant cedar smell. The only drawback I've seen is that on a hot day the product will drip out of the bottom of my tailgate and onto my bumper. I removed the panel on the tailgate and sprayed it all inside, so as it heats up it flows down and drips out of the bottom seam. I'm actually fine with that because I know its getting into that seam which can be a rust issue. Two more issues - you can only find the black product on Amazon and there's no way to attach a 360 degree nozzle to the black spray can. I use a compressor so it's not a huge issue, but It would be nice to have that option with the black cans. You can get it from O'Riely, but they have to ship it from the warehouse because they don't keep it on the shelves. All and all it seems to be a better product than Fluid Film with NHOU being a close second.
