Moulinex Multipan On Off - toasters [Energy Class A+]

No good for standard uk bread, which is too big, unless you like small loaves Ok though for burgers & crumpets.Looks good & with no moving parts, should be durable for a long time.

Had a brilliant toaster years ago which was similar. This one is good but a few things could be better :-Bread is not being grilled on 8/10th of the lower part due to heating wires position.-Be careful the body get very hot (pretty obvious but i can confirm it:(.- the old one had a two doors which when being opened would flip the slices and speed up the grilling process acting like reflectors.- a timer would be safer, don’t forget to switch it off as there is no automatic security, smoke Is the only Indication.Not a good toaster for distracted users :).

This toaster in my opinion is unsafe.1.) There is no timer or thermostat for a start. It will happily set fire to your toast, and possibly your kitchen. It requires to be watched full time.2.) The metal above the element gets extremely hot, and I have burned my fingers a couple of times, trying to hold the toaster still while I turn it off.3.) The exposed element is electrically live. Yes, you can also electrocute yourself with a conventional toaster by trying to remove a piece of jammed toast with a metal spoon etc. This moulinex toaster makes it even easier to electrocute yourself.4.) As another reviewer notes, it fails to toast the bottom 1-2 cm of the slice which is below the heating element.I think this is a victory of 'Retro Style' over common sense.
