I bought these because I needed a shorter led bulb for the light fixture in our stairwell. The normal half bulb LEDs don't light up the lower half of the bulb and that cast weird shadows in the horizontal light fixture. Some other corn led bulbs like this have a larger heat sink at the base that means the LEDs don't start for over 1.5 inches from the end of the threads, these do not have that problem. TBD if the smaller heat sink is a longevity issue but I'll update my review if it is. I question the lumen rating in comparison to some of my other led bulbs but this is significantly brighter than the incandescent or CFL bulbs I've used in the fixture previously.

Needed something more efficient and bright for a back porch light so I could illuminate a back yard that's deep and wide. This worked a lot better than standard LED light bulbs that only shine downward. It is much brighter and it casts light much more uniformly to the sides. Only negative is the pattern of diodes on the bulb casts out a bit of a starburst light pattern at close distances, but not to an annoying point.

I moved into a neighborhood where the raccoons are terrorists at night. I don't want to go out at night when they are rolling deep but now I can see them critters quite well. These bulbs are bright but not blinding.

This LED light is bright, has a pleasing color, and is compact enough to fit in my lamp. The light is projected in all directions, while some lamps seem to project more light in the direction away from the base. I hope the company might consider making an even brighter version, though it would probably need to be somewhat larger.

This Bulb is really bright. How ever after some time , it fill my room with weird smell. A bunning smell. One of the bulb is not light up. I took that bulb down and try to remove the E12 connector. What I see is a the plastic at the connector is melted and it seem like a component was burn to the ash.( see the picture) I took them all off and toss it into the trash can. Do not buy this bulb. it's a fire hazard!!

Bulb fits nicely as a replacement to regular sized LED or incandescent bulb but twice the brightness without the heavier amperage required by non LED bulb.
