My daughter is 6 years old 4'4 and 95 lbs... The 4X was a little tight on her.. The shorts were way small (showing crack lol) and the top showed the bottom of her belly... She's a little thick so I sent it back.. The 5X fits her great.. I'll update with pics when she wears it.. If your child is on the heavy or thick size, I would size up for sure! The top had a decent stretch width wise but the bottoms do not stretch... It is soft to her skin which is a plus.. Oh and the pad inserts will only stay on once they have on the top... Meaning the area it goes in is not secure unless they have on the top and you then insert it.. Otherwise it will fall right out.. And yes that's important as my 6 year old needs it... Yeah that part! Lol.. Hope this helps you..

I ordered this swimsuit for my daughter. It's difficult to find a nice non-provocative two piece suit that doesn't make my 8 year old daughter look older than she is. She LOVES this swimsuit. It's comfortable, and fits her well. There is a bra liner and underwear liner attached. Easy to clean and fabric is not too thin. The only reason I gave it a 4 rating was that the shoulder straps were a bit large for my daughter (it was easy to fix with a sewing machine). Also, she's been wearing it all summer and the black shorts do fade rather quickly. Other than that, we love this suit. We will buy it again next year.

I bought this for my tween for a cruise. The suit is very cute. The material feels nice and has a good stretch, but is not too loose. Covers her perfectly. She loved it. Good value for the smiles I got when she tried it on.

My daughter is usually a 10-12 on top and an 8 bottom. The size 10-12 fit PERFECTLY everywhere. She is modest & likes her tummy covered & this top is just long enough. It's fitted without being snug or tight, the arm holes are not big or gappy. The bottoms fit great & will not fall off or show crack. She looks really nice & sporty in this, good quality!

Loved the look and fit of this, but a bit disappointed in quality. The liner fell out after second use and the logo washed away in the first use. My daughter has used this for 2 months swimming about 1.5-2 hours a week and I’m shocked how faded it is from chlorine. It’s also lost a lot of elasticity.

This is the second one I got for my daughter. She outgrew the first and we liked it enough to get a second. The coverage is awesome with no pieces or parts hanging out. No bum picking or pulling. Daughter is a pretty solid 10/12, almost 12 but reg 10 is too small. The 4X fits her great, just a enough room to grown this year without the saggy bum.
