One Bluetooth speaker, to rule them all!!
I've been on a hunt for one Bluetooth speaker that sounds good. I have two Bose, a Jbl and other Aomais speakers. And many others not shown is this picture. The sound quality is above and beyond anything ive owned to this point. First off it's wood, so there is no radle and distortion that all the plastic ones have.It has 2 tweeters and a bass radiator that's twice the size as any others I've had.The EQ is really nice. One setting takes most of the bass out, the second witch is my favorite is a perfect blend of highs and bass. And the third is bass heavy with the highs and mids faded out. It's not crazy loud, but with the volume all the way up, there is no point where it starts to sound distorted and crackling like all my others. It's not water proof, and it's not for someone who wants something to throw around. This is for people who want vibrant sound. Me and my wife were testing it out against both of my Bose, witch cost me about 250 ish between them. And this is not contest. The Aomais life destroys them IMO. Both of my Bose are not water proof either.I plan on buying another to pair. You do have to be careful picking it up, because the bass radiator is so big you tend to grab it when you pick it up.

Exceptional Value
For a comparable JBL, Sony, etc bluetooth speaker you would pay over $100. At the time of writing, this speaker is going for $40. I have a JBL Flip 3, which even now sells for about $70, and strictly in terms of sound quality there's no contest. The Flip 3 has no EQ settings that I'm aware of (maybe they're hidden in an app, but that's a bit inconvenient if so), it is about 33-50% quieter at full volume, and the bass is not remotely as deep or impactful. On the other hand, the JBL Flip 3 (and 4) is close to half the size so it's easier to toss in a bag, and it comes with some waterproof capabilities. For those who have tested out some of the more popular bluetooth speakers at places like Best Buy, I'd say the sound and volume reminds me most of the Sony XB41, which I believe is $200. Unless you really need LED lights on your bluetooth speaker, I'd save $160 and go for this.As for aesthetics, it looks as pictured and is pretty attractive relative to the average bluetooth speaker. The only thing worth pointing out which isn't apparent is that the bottom has little rubber strips that keep it raised maybe 2 millimeters above whatever surface it's on. This is helpful because it 1) creates a gap between the speaker and the surface so it doesn't make the surface rattle and 2) it keeps dust, dirt, etc from accumulating on the bottom of the nice cotton exterior. To go more in depth on the sound, I found that at full volume there is, every now and then, a little bit of distortion in vocals, but this is rare. One notch below full volume and you'll probably never encounter any distortion, and even at full volume it never pops up frequently enough to really be an issue. For some reason volume is lower (comparable to my flip 3 at full volume) when you plug in using an AUX cord. I would just stick to Bluetooth. What really impressed me was how punchy and impactful the bass can be. At full or close to full volume it has a thump to it that you wouldn't expect from a 3 pound rectangle. As for volume, I didn't test decibel levels but I would say this speaker by itself is adequate for a kickback with 8-10 people, or a small BBQ type of gathering. If you are trying to throw a whole house party with 12+ people this will probably underwhelm a bit. For comparison, I wouldn't rely on the JBL Flip 3 or 4 for anything more than casually hanging out with maybe 3 other people. The Aomais Life will be sufficient for most rooms unless you intend to listen loud enough to make the neighbors complain, it stops just shy of hitting "disgruntled neighbors" volume.Overall, I think this is the best value bluetooth speaker you are going to find for $40, or even $60 if the price goes back up. While you do miss out on certain features like waterproof capabilities and extreme portability, you are probably getting the best sound quality and volume possible in this price range. If you intend to carry this around with you everywhere or need it to be waterproof, I'd look elsewhere. But if you just want a bluetooth speaker to use around the house and at small gatherings of up to about 10 people, don't waste your money on some $200 offering from JBL, Sony, Bose, UE, etc. I have a whole 5.1 stereo system in my living room that I've obsessed over with regard to the components and sound quality so I'd like to think I have a decent ear, and I guarantee you the AOMAIS Life performs comparably to those more expensive Bluetooth speaker brand names. And to the extent that there's a difference it would be largely indistinguishable without a side-by-side comparison. Also, free tip: the passive bass radiator is on the back, so place it about 6 inches off a wall when possible for the most bass.Included photo is a size comparison between the AOMAIS Life and a JBL Flip 3.

Great Quality
I build bluetooth boomboxes and speaker systems. The Aomais Life Bluetooth speaker is impressive. I have tested the Bluetooth range 50 feet, through walls - not line of sight; better than models costing more. 3 EQ settings means you can adjust the sound to meet your needs. Bass is good with these small speakers with help of the passive radiator in back of the unit. Smooth sound, not harsh or compressed. 3.5mm aux input, so you can use non-Bluetooth devices. USB charging port for phones and music players. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of carry handle, but this unit is small and light enough to carry anywhere. And it fits in more tight places than most of my own Bluetooth speakers!

So it was a no-brainer when I saw this new speaker that would be perfect for our living room
Haiku review:Depth and clarityAll one wants to listen toAnd pair with iPhoneProse review:We have two Aomais waterproof Bluetooth speakers. The sound is so lovely, loud and clear. So it was a no-brainer when I saw this new speaker that would be perfect for our living room. The lovely wood casing matched perfectly. When I paired it with my phone, I tried out a song that has deep thumping bass (Moon Hooch’s Mega Tubes). The sound was crystal clear and thumped along beautifully without rattling or breaking up. I turned up the volume all the way and it was equally delicious. Well done, AOMAIS!

Great for home or office.
When it comes to this speaker, the first thing you will notice is the price. It is expensive and the competition at thos price range is vast. However, the build quality is superb, the sound is crisp and full, and the eq settings actually produce an audible difference. My one complaint is that it is not as loud as i expected it to be, enough to fill a decently sized room but not much louder than my smaller aomais sport 2 speaker (as pictured for comparison).Where it does excel over the sport 2 is in appearance and extra features such as the eq and power bank capabilities. But what really drove me to buy another speaker from this company even though it is a new product and there were plenty of other options? The answer is customer service.Ive had my other aomais speaker for some time now. And experienced and issue with one. A few quick emails later and the team helped me resolve my problem. They are very helpful and definitely follow through with their warranty.
