Smart Ceiling Light, 2400LM RGBIC and RGBWW, 12 Inch, White 2 Packs

Its better than i expected, easy to mount, took me maybe 10 minutes, its bright on white light, colorfull on the colored light. Had no issues with connectivity or anything. For $50 its pretty good.

Pre-Installation context: I’m a 5ft tall, 21yr old female nail technician, living in a fairly new construction (3yr old) house with 9ft ceilings. I also currently have XL nails and have never installed a light fixture alone. The light was installed in about a 14’x12’ (master) room, but that’s just my guess on the room size. With all that said, this was probably the easiest installation I could’ve ever hoped for from buying this on a whim. I’ve never been high enough in my house to remove the plate that covered the wires on my ceiling fixture, so I had no idea what to expect other than that I’d be connecting a few wires eventually. I’ve replaced outlets in the past in my parents house and assisted in replacing a light fixture similar to this one, but this was extremely simple compared to what I was expecting. Aside from realizing I have a fear of heights once fully atop the ladder & touching the ceiling, this was very easy and literally could be done by anyone with two hands. My ceiling fixture had 4 wires. Red- Connects to the switch on the wall Black - Typically connected to any light fixture White - Typically connected to any light fixture Bare/Copper- Live wire Now those are very basic explanations of the wires for simplicity, in case anyone else has a matching or similar set up. This light figure does *NOT* need the live wire, or the copper/bare wire. All that’s attached to the Govee light fixture is a black and white wire, so from my understanding you can either go with just connecting those two to their corresponding wires in the ceiling, or you can connect them the way I did below Govee Light > Black wire - Red wire > Ceiling fixture Govee Light > White wire - White wire > Ceiling fixture The way I’ve explained is for anyone with a light switch connected to the ceiling fixture, hoping to also have that functionality along side the smart features. They have very easy connectors included, so all you need to do is slip the wire into place in the connector and fully snap the little lever down. Give the connector a gentle tug to ensure it’s closed and secure. If I can think of any more tips to provide I’ll update my review, but this light was overall very self explanatory and very simple to set up. It fully illuminates my room and works perfectly with my Gcync bulbs in coordination with all my Alexa devices. It looks small, but it’s very powerful and bright for this space size. I’m actually considering purchasing more for my other bedrooms in this house, it was *that* simple. I got mine with a $20 off coupon, so around $50, and it’s definitely worth the price!! It’s controlled by the Govee app and it works very nicely. Hope this helps!! Update: I installed a second one of these in my living room, but this time I installed the light with the colors of the wires matching. It still works with the switch! It also fully illuminates the (est.) 24x14x9 space, so this is a very powerful little light!

The light that updates your room to a modern vibe. The many colors and vast customizability with the ease of use mobile app directly connecting either through bluetooth or wifi. The product box came with very nice items for a simple install the added wire connectors were quality and very functional when joining the wires to bring the power. Although there isn’t a physical remote control other than the room light switch itself the better replacement is the mobile govee app with its various premade scenes and effects. The app allows a lot of customization options to better suite your preferences. Light is bright and very dimmable. And now only the test of time will tell us what is the appropriate Lifespan which is being given in this to us for this colorful fun ceiling light.

I’m a longtime Govee fan and have owned several of their products, so when I needed to replace an old ceiling light I decided to give this flush mount a shot. Zero regrets. Installation was genuinely easy — low profile, sits almost flat against the ceiling, and looks clean and modern compared to the bulky fixture it replaced. I put mine in my closet and it completely changed the feel of the space. It looks like something you’d see in a much more expensive home. The app control is where this thing really shines. I can dim it up and down, change the color temperature, set a full schedule, and even switch to color mode when I want something fun. The fact that I can do all of that from my phone without touching a switch is a huge convenience. The scheduling feature alone is worth it — the light just comes on when I need it. For the price, the build quality and feature set are hard to beat. If you’re already in the Govee ecosystem this is a no-brainer, and if you’re new to it, this is a great place to start.

Bought it to replace a ceiling light fixture that my teenager had ourgrown, they love this one! Was very easy to install, it's a flush mount so it's low profile as well. It can be app controlled as well as integrates with digital assistants like the echo so we can just say something like "make the ceiling light white!" or "make the ceiling light rainbow!" and it accommodates the request. It also has separate banks of lights so you can make the main center a specific color, and then change individual nodes around the side as well. Similar to the other govee products you can also make shifting light gradients and all kinds of effects for it as well.

It’s not bulky, which is great because I didn’t want something that would dominate the ceiling, but it still makes a big difference in how the room looks. Installation: I’m not exactly a DIY expert, but getting this light installed was surprisingly easy. It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish, and I didn’t even need extra help. Overall: I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s stylish, super functional, and the smart features make it so convenient. If you’re thinking about upgrading your lighting, I’d definitely recommend giving this a shot!

After using this now for a few months, it really is an awesome light. I have several Govee lights in my house and this one is probably our favourite. It is in the main hallway that connects bedrooms to our main living area. We utilise different color combos for different times of the year. It is really easy to use with the app, easy to install in the ceiling. Bright, colorful, darker, mid-level brightness, whatever your heart desires this thing will probably have it. I strongly stand behind products from Govee - awesome lights!!

I love this lamp. It is bright, easy to install and at right price, rlespecially on discounts. Their app is also great and it works with Alexa I just wosh Govee will add more to their lines. While I enjoy thos lamp, it is in the closet. It is not something you would want to install in the living room. They need options with more decor or fan.

( not paid , just very happy with it ) - Price is cheaper let than I thought for a smart ceiling light ( and the app is free !) - Set up on the app was super easy , I can’t say much for the average person for installing it because my bf is an electrician , but he said it was easy , I watched him and it took maybe 5 minutes. - the app is great , lots of settings ( half of witch I won’t use because I have epilepsy so no flashing lights in my room 😂) but I love the wide array of colours, ability to change warmness , brightness or turn it off ( without getting up ! ) can also sync to music , use a premade setting or make your own , as well at set timers and alarms , and can save your favourite settings for easy access I bought this because my room was either to dark or to bright , I wanted on option for warm light but didn’t wanna be stuck with it when I actually needed to see something, so that I could turn off light at night without getting up when my chilling turns into sleeping , And it does all that super easily I had a good experience for a good price ( did I mention to all was free ?) I will be buying more govee smart for around the house so I can access as much as possible from 1 app

Bright, easy to install, easy to manage and infinitely adjustable! The instructions are simple and easy to follow. I am comfortable with electronics but you do not need to be. They provide all the fittings you might need including two types of electrical connectors so choose what you are comfortable with. I removed the bulky old light fitting and installed the new Govee unit in under 10 minutes. In my 10x13 home office the light is staggeringly bright. The mobile app detected the light almost instantly and you just need to give it a name, or accept the default, and as your eifi details to be able to manage it. I am a long term Govee user with manage devices but I was impressed enough with this new light to order a second, due to arrive tomorrow, for another room that deserves better lighting. Don’t hesitate, if you want a great, smart, infinitely adjustable, ceiling light just get this, it is an absolute winner!

Absolutely love Govee products! It was a breeze to install. We bought 2 for these with the intent to put one in our son's room and our daughters room. We love how bright the light is and all the features and scenes the light offers. My sons obsessed with having the light go into "lightning mode" or "dance party mode". Works well with our Google home assistant but if you want the fancy features you'll have to use the Govee app to fine tune and customize scenes. It also work great if you choose not use it as a smart device and operates normally with the switch. Tho using the app you can change the color temperature and brightness as it may be too bright for some people. If you've been on the fence about purchasing this, let this be your sign to go ahead and do it. We'll be buying another one for our master bedroom.
