Type pump
This type pump works very well - both on the mains and via the cigarette lighter. It mustn't be rushed too much, but it does the job soon enough without the huff-puff of foot-pressing on a manual pump. And it's nice to have a simple pin, as well. It's pretty hard to get both mains lead and air lead back into the recess - the solution is to do this only with the mains lead, and just feed the air cable down between the handle when the pump is back in its handy case.

A product that seems to cover all eventualities.
Its small, lightweight and has the connection cables built in. You also have the option of plugging it into the electric, if you find you have a flat battery outside your home. But if you break down on the road you have the option of plugging into the cigarette lighter in your car as well. Its quick with no hassle. Brilliant and at a good price.
