After signing up online for extreme tracking and mounting it on the dashboard of my new car it works perfectly as an asset tracker. Battery life is formidable and the iPhone app is nice. Thoroughly recommended.

As the title says, on the dashboard of a car it's unable to track at 5min intervals. you'll likely get a track every 5mins for 20 or 25mins, then nothing for an hour or more, then you might get something again.

Not sure why this arrives with the batteries already in the device. The batteries in the device were totally flat 0.8v.A quick call to tech support revealed that power light green, then GPS light green then power light red means flat battery. This is not mentioned anywhere in the documentation.No problem as there's another 4 in the box right? Wrong there are only four included and the description is misleading you there.This is a bit annoying as 8 lithium AAA batteries = £14 which is 15% of the product or around 7% once you factor in the service charge.Onto the service charge, it's not 10 euros a month as advertised on the website but 10 pounds. It's $10 USD in the US so I would advise setting a US address and you'll save yourself £34/year!Notwithstanding all the pain and unreasonableness above it seems to work fine.

Best money I have spent for a long time. Once you get logged on to the system sit back and watch it happen..
