Perfect for crafts
Perfect size for crafts. Clean and no barnacles on the back of the shell. These are flat. If you are looking for a more concave one these are not it.

AMAZON has many unusual items that are useful to me.
Living on the Coast leads us to like such things. My wife used these shells as a "place card" for our daughters wedding reception. Just one more thing Amazon has to make this a memorable day. (And there are many more!)

Lots of plaster type material in the box. They are decent size for crafts.

Bad shipment
I've ordered these before and they were absolutely perfect. What happened? I'm in an ornament swap, Christmas in July, were I have to make 10 ornaments. I was only able to use 6 out of 20. They were chipped, chunks out of the shells, unusable. Looks like they were picked up from an oyster shell parking lot. In order to complete my swap, I went to a local restaurant and they gave me 20 perfect oyster shells. Bleached them, put them in the sun, and finished my swap on time.
