Absolutely an amazing gift for a work colleague finishing work to have a baby

It's a nice enough set, though I didnt like that they had used cardboard to fill out the gaps inside, but the books and box are very decent, however... I think its fair to say that the kids dont like them at all, and I can understand that, the stories are very old fashioned and the language is a bit plodding by modern standards. Id suggest reaquainting yourself with the stories a bit before buying for children.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. We read aloud to our children a lot and this is the perfect way to read to our toddler (2 and 4 yo). These books separate the Winnie the Pooh chapters into individual books. This is great because the chapters can be read as individual stories. All the writing and illustrations are original which is great for A. A. Milne fans. The quality is great and the case they come in is so nicely made. I love this product. I wish they would state in their description that everything about the books is original and not edited and the only difference is that they are separated into their own chapters. I actually took a chance in voting them because I wasn’t sure if I would like it. However, after purchasing them, I couldn’t be happier to have this set for my kids. LOVE IT!
