ESR for Apple Watch Ultra 3/2/1 Case with Screen Protector 49mm, Black

Bought a new Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black Titanium and was a little nervous about damaging the case or glass. Have used ESR products for years and I've never had a bad experience. They always seem well designed, thoughtfully packaged and their products are of a high quality at a mid to premium price point. Inside the box you'll find: - Protective Shell Case x1 (Black with orange Action Button) - Armorite Screen Protector x2 (with Black Edging on this version) - Wet Screen Cleaning Wipe Sachets x2 - Soft Cleaning Cloth x1 - Dust Removal Stickers x3 - Full set of instructions with QR code for instruction video (worth reading/watching) FIITTING First step was to clean my watch screen with the wet wipe, then dry with the cloth and apply the screen protector. In this kit for the Titanium Black version the edges of the screen protector have a black protective edging. The protector comes on a locating strip, making it easy to position perfectly over your watch face. Sliding your finger the length of the screen should allow the protector to stick evenly without bubbles. I did encounter one stubborn air bubble, so lifted the protector and reapplied and it worked perfectly second time round. Once secured you can barely notice the screen protector is attached. Most importantly it has no impact on the sensitivity or functionality of the screen. Second you add the protective shell. Found the best way to do this was locate the crown wheel in it's corresponding hole, get that side to fit first and then push the shell down over the watch till the other side clicks in place. IMPRESSIONS The fit and finish is excellent. ESR have done a great job of matching the Black of the case with that of the watch, to the point that the case just looks like part of the original watch. I actually prefer the orange action button on the protective case to the dull original. It provides a great balance of providing all round protection without adding any excessive bulk or impacting the original Apple design. I weighed the shell case at 6g and the protector at 2g - so you're only adding around 8g to your watch in total, which I'd argue most of us would never notice. The shell case is removable and so you could technically take it off and wear the watch with just the screen protector if you wanted to - but if you wanted to do that, you'd be better buying ESR's standalone screen protector. OVERALL I'm delighted with this purchase and don't really have any negatives. As with any protective product it's obviously going to add a little bit of bulk to the original device, but in this case not unacceptably so. I think this protective cover looks to be better integrated to the original watch design in terms of both fit and colour match than some others on the market. I would thoroughly recommend, hence giving it 5 Stars. Please note I'd already secured the screen protector onto the watch when I decided to write this review and take pics, so couldn't include a 'before' pic.

Great screen/watch protector. Easy to fit, looks great and touch sensitivity is not affected. The protection offered is amazing, after crashing my MTB, the pictures show how this product saved my watch and my wallet from an expensive mishap!

Wow, what can I say. I just purchased a brand new apple watch ultra 3 and of course every apple product must have a case and tempered glass screen protector as we all know how delicate they can be to the slightest of drops. So, I bought a different case and screen protector from one of the top results for around the same price I bought this ESR case and screen protector. When I got it, the hard plastic and very tight fit worried me about it scratching the new watch, and the screen protector was built in and plasticy, also to top it off it wasn't fingerprint resistant and showed up every single touch swipe and press as big smeary marks all over the protector. So I looked for something better and I found this ESR product. I've just put it onto my ultra watch 3 and immediately I've noticed the material is less harsh and won't scratch the watch, the screen protector is a separate item and is fingerprint resistant tempered glass just like a phone screen protector and there is a really good applicator that makes applying the screen protector so easy you can do it after you've had a drink (first hand experience).the visibility especially in sunlight compared to the other alternative is second to none and fingerprint functionality work so much better. And all for the same price. I very much reccomend this to everybody, don't waste your money on other alternatives that are the same price

Had it for a week so far happy with it . I work as an electrician and it s so far protected the watch from damage and scratches .

After biting the bullet and finally giving into temptation to buy the Apple Watch Ultra 2 I felt the need to keep it scratch and bump free. I know there’s a lot of you out there who state this watch is incredibly robust, I’m not disagreeing with you. However when your work in a serious industrial environment (Foundry) you feel that a bit of protection can’t hurt. I have to say that I’m impressed with this product. It’s great value for money considering the value of the item it’s actually protecting. It feels good on the wrist (Not oversized) and its functionality is as described. I found it super easy to install and would imagine everyone would feel the same with a tiny bit of patience and care. It’s is adequate with regards to scratch resistance but as expected it has received some slight scuffs from work but at the end of the day that’s what it’s there for. Overall I’m extremely impressed.

As easy to fit as most of the glasses with a template. The real reason or purchasing this is the case to protect the edges of the screen from dings. The plus point is that you can replace the glass and keep the same case and given I have had to replace the screen protector a few times that is the selling point for me

This is the second one I have bought, this one is for best the current one is for work. I work for Ocado taking Dollie’s of trailers and loading vans all night. My watch with the cover off looks like the day I bought it.

★★★★★ (5/5) I absolutely love this case. Considering how expensive the Apple Watch Ultra is, protecting it just makes sense. I wouldn’t use an iPhone without a case, so I didn’t want to use my watch without one either. The installation was quick and easy, and I really like that it comes with two screen protectors. It’s nice to have a spare ready for when the first one eventually needs replacing. I’ve been using this case for about 9 months, and it has protected my watch from plenty of bumps and scratches. Without it, I’m sure my watch would have picked up dents and marks by now. The case has a few small signs of wear on the rubber parts after months of use, but it has never become loose or stopped protecting the watch. Another thing I was worried about was whether it would affect the usability of the watch, but it doesn’t. The touchscreen remains fully responsive, the Digital Crown turns smoothly, and the microphone and speaker work perfectly. I haven’t noticed any issues at all while using it. I was so happy with this case that I even bought another one as a gift for friends. For the price, it’s excellent value and gives great peace of mind. If you’ve spent a lot of money on an Apple Watch Ultra, I highly recommend protecting it with this case.
