Simple Joys by Carter's Baby Boys' Twill Button Up Jacket

For the price, this coat was nicer than I expected. It’s not just a cheap, throw-away fashion product that falls apart after a few uses.It’s actually a decent jacket. It has some weight to it, the stitching seems strong and it will actually keep your little one at a comfortable temperature in the spring & fall months or even chilly summer nights.It’s also not so thick and heavy that they will overheat if you want them to look super cute and stylish while they are indoors.I love it and I am very happy I decided to make this purchase. We will definitely get a lot of use out of this jacket.***It’s true to size: My son is 17.5 months, almost 30lbs & 32-33inches. He’s usually in 18-24m clothing but, I purchased a 2T. He can wear it now and he’s not swimming in it. (I roll the sleeves up a little and it still looks good.) But, he will have some room to grow into it which, is what I was wanting. I also wanted a little extra room considering this will be worn over other clothing. It’s frustrating and gets expensive when they outgrow all their cute clothes in a few weeks but, I think we will get a couple months out of this one.

I purchased this jacket for my almost-3-year-old son. He is very tall and very skinny (about 3'3" and 28 lbs) and kind of in-between 18m and 2T for shirts. I purchased the 2T knowing Carters often runs a bit small and figuring it would be a good fit. It's a little snug. It can still be buttoned, and we decided to keep it. However, he won't get any more use out of it after the next month or so and he will need a 3T. I would recommend sizing up if you're unsure.The jacket is excellent quality, and very warm. It's lined with a very soft material, although the jacket itself is a stiffer material than a sweatshirt. Overall, my toddler seems to think it's very comfy and likes wearing it. It matches everything, and I would probably buy this same jacket for him again next year in a bigger size.

This jacket is very warm yet lightweight. I was concerned after I ordered it when I read a review which pointed out that there is no zipper (only buttons) on this jacket and that it was difficult to put on their child. I however, did not have this experience with my very wiggly toddler, the button holes are not so tight that you have to struggle to get the buttons through and I am able to quickly button them into the jacket. It’s a great jacket.

Love this jacket! Perfect for my little on with eczema. I wanted a cotton jacket but most are not lined and when they are it’s usually fleece which is very irritating to his skin. I was so excited when I found this jacket! It fits him perfect and it’s keep him warm while still allowing his skin to breath

I bought this for my 6 year old son and it looks great on him. Very well made and quality material. It is not a heavy jacket but it does have a thin lining that brings a little more warmth. Great for Fall and the beginning of winter. I can see it dressed up or down. Very nice.

Nephews turn 2 in Dec but I got them a 3T so they can wear a thicker sweater underneath. Jackets are light weight, it's difficult to button on and off.If you have arthritis or difficult time with buttons. I don't recommend, their Grandma have to button the jacket for me because of my arthritis and carpal tunnelI love the color and the material. Twins love them too. I'm going to change up the buttons for sure

They fit comfortably well in my opinion, I bought a 4T for my 3yrs old son and it fits loosely. The idea is the boy is growing so fast and the 4T might last a little longer lol. He gets lot of compliments and he really love the jacket. The color is the same.

It is soft and lightweight—a great transitional season item. Not much stretch to outside layer but the inside is lined with comfy T-shirt material and when I asked my very picky toddler to try it on he asked to keep it on so it’s obviously still comfortable. I want one in my size!
