These are fantastic to complete my pirate costume. They are pretty great looking and the sword went together quite easily. They look much nicer than most costume sets we have looked at. I would not say this is a toy though as it would not hold up to rough play at all. It is costume quality, nice costume quality, but costume quality.

First off the gun was broken before I even opened the package. Then I tried fixing it and noticed a piece was snapped on it. The sword is ok but this would not be used for children, only props. Very flimsy and breakable.

Got these for my daughters Halloween costume and they were surprisingly nice. The blade you need to put the handle on but it comes with the tools and screws to do it. Only issue I had was the tip of the blade was broken off during shipping so seller be aware of the packaging. A little super glue fixed it up but it did happen so 1 star off.

This is a good looking set for my son's pirate halloween costume, but the plastic is thin and fragile. He's already broken the end off the flint-lock (my husband super-glued it and told him not to touch it again until after Halloween). I told him not to play with the sword, I don't think it would survive. He was excited to put together the sword himself, but the screws don't align or thread well. I even had a little trouble getting a few of them in. Great props, would not recommend for play due to the fragility.

My kids love these! The gun has some mechanical mechanisms that actually move, so they really enjoy playing with this. The sword is a little thin, so I worry about longevity. My kids are nine and six, and they both enjoy playing with these.

These look really cool! They're not overly sturdy by any means, but they should hold up for use on multiple Halloweens. The gun cocks back and "fires" (it doesn't make a sound but the hammer releases).

not the best out there, and I would've prefered it without screws that could end up hurting a kid. but it looks cool if your kid is into Pirates stuff.
