I love this speaker. It's exactly what I needed- portable and durable with decent sound. I also like that it's resistant to dust and water. I plan to use it in the backyard or when camping or traveling, so I like that it can endure some exposure to the elements (within reason). I did get a case for it and recommend one for some added protection. The battery life is decent (it gives you updates every time you turn it on and when it's running low when you're using it), it was easy to set up, and the sound quality is great. My only complaint is that I wish it was voice activated. While you can set it up to link to your Google Assistant or Alexa, you still have to push a button to talk to it. In the era of just yelling whatever you want at a speaker that is always listening, I found that to be a bit cumbersome since I don't always have it within reach (based on the sound quality, you will find that you want to place it somewhere in the center of a room where you can get the full effect, so it may not always be in front of you to push the button). However, I've just learned to control it from my phone instead and don't think it's worth taking off a star, because that's not what it's supposed to be. Overall, for the price, this was exactly what I wanted, and I highly recommend it. While you can get any type of Bluetooth speaker these days, this is absolutely worth the price.

I love it! I'm not experiencing any connection issues. I have a Samsung Android phone. The speaker came sealed and in original packaging. Seal was not broken so I knew that I was receiving a new product. I got the Bose app so I can adjust the sound. I like the way this speaker sounds. Balanced sound not too bass-y, which i like cause to much bass can distort the sound. I plan on buying another one when I get the chance so I can have surround sound in my apartment. I do not regret this purchase. And I would buy from this seller again because the speaker was new and not a returned one like some sellers do for profit. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. My last small speaker was a skull candy air raid and back over 10 years ago it was awesome. I gifted the SC speaker to my daughter years back. Then I went and got a JBL partybox100 and love the darn thing but it is heavy. I knew I needed a small portable speaker for when I grill or I an in the garage working on something. I wanted clear sound on a small portable package that could fill a small room. I immediately went to check the JBL portable speakers around the same size. I sampled several but I really liked the sound of the Bose. I never had any bose anything before. It was going for $119 and it has an app to control the features on the speaker. It is very light weight for the size, I wanted something other than black and went with the blue. The construction feels good, it’s waterproof and shock resistant. The bluetooth picked up right away. I walked outside my house with my phone and never lost connectivity. Now the battery life, this is not for the whole day. If you have the EQ setting with a lower bass setting at 70% volume you are loosing 10% charge around every hour it was my estimation. So at a good high volume you can get a good solid 8-9 hours of play. If you have it lets say on your desk close to you at a 20% volume you might get the 12 hours. Now you can play while charging, it might take longer to charge but you will still get to enjoy your music. Charge cable provided is a usb-c to usb-a but you can use a usb-c to usb-c cable with any wall charger 12watt or higher. Match your cable watt rating to your wall plug watt rating. Meaning its better to have a higher rated cable than your wall plug. Example: 20watt wall plug with 60 watt usb-c cable its all you need. Buy quality chargers and cables Anker is one of my preferred brands. Highly recommend getting the free Bose app as it will update the software of your speaker when ever it drops and you can adjust your EQ settings. If you want a thumper go with a JBL it puts out more bass. If you want a bit clearer more balanced sound get the Bose. Pretty happy with my purchase. Posted a video but the sound from the recording does not do it justice.

Got this to replace a boat Anker which started providing unwanted audible feedback. Chose Pink color since it will sit in the car next to the shifter and can get sunshine on it. Black will retain heat. Pink will reflect most of the heat. The sound is excellent. The ability to answer phone calls is also another plus. Will be able to listen to my albums which I had ripped to MP3 then copied to a SD storage micro card on my cell. Will have hours of entertainment available on long trips. No need to keep switching radio stations every time I get out of range. Can definitely rely on Bose quality. This is a bit pricey, but it's a sound investment - get it?

I shopped for quite a bit to find this item at the price point and quality. I occasionally listen to classical, jazz and original cast and soundtracks, so I needed something that was wireless to go with a new bluetooth turntable and wasn't in the audiophile range of $$$ or more. This is great. Charges quickly, easy to use, pairs nicely with the iphone, and there are controls for EQ! Can't beat that. It hasn't been used outside but it works fine in a 500sf living room and you can move it around so that works. Price, sound quality, connectibility and control. All for under $75.

I previously had the Bose micro sound link portable speaker. I may have dropped it 3 times over 9 years and it was always fine. This one is 2-3 times the size of the micro soundlink and it just feels more fragile — like, would NOT want to drop it. So I got a case that will allow me to listen to it while in the case. I love the unique colors offered and had a hard time choosing.. but I’m an earth tones girly so ultimately I went with Sandstone. Love the color! It gets 2-3 times the volume as the micro soundlink and to me, Bose has always been the best brand for giving the sharpest most quality sound. I love it so much!
