Great sensor accuracy at 4k budget
I upgraded to this watch post 6 continuous years using single xiaomi band. Coming back to Redmi watch 5 lite: - UI: Touch speed and UI beyond expectations (Very close to premium amazfit) on this budget. - notification: customisable as per your preferred apps. With this screen size, eye stress on reading is significantly reduced. - Step Sensor accuracy: Based on 12 days use, it appears highly accurate. Though noticed if you step for < 10 steps, then it skips counting all those steps. For > 10 steps, it count accurately. - Continuous Heart Rate: impressed. Accuracy looks aligned with the mood and stress. Hence, they also provided stress % counter as well. - Bluetooth calling: great though less loud. Sometimes name is not coming for contacts, in general caller number is shown. - Alexa: works as expected, though prefer if mi fitness app also add other gpt support. - Battery: lasted around 11-12 days for default settings. You can disable certain continuous monitoring to save battery and last for more days. GPS and spo2 are by default enabled (it will pull more battery power, battery duration can reduce) - Screen size: Good for notification, health tracking 24hr chart visualisation (this you can also do in mi fitness app). Bad for thinner wrist (problem for all recent watches accross brands). - Bluetooth connectivity: compatible with android no issues. Overall, great value for money since providing 9k inr amazfit level features in 4k inr.

Good Looks, Solid Basics, but Alexa and GoogleFit Sync Hold It Back
The watch stands out with its attractive design and impressive display quality. GPS performance is reliable; however, it lacks navigation features, which is a noticeable drawback. Unfortunately, Alexa has not been functioning since day one. I’ve already escalated the issue with the service center and am awaiting their response. Battery backup is decent and should comfortably last through regular usage. Watch faces are good enough. Step tracking is good, and integration with third-party apps works fairly well. However, I did not find any option to sync with Google Fit. Additionally, sleep data does not sync with apps like “Sleep as Android Unlock,” which limits its usefulness for detailed sleep tracking. Overall, it is a value-for-money watch considering its price. I will provide an update once I receive a resolution regarding the Alexa issue from the service center.

Greatest smart watch ever
So, i want to say that it is having one of the greatest and best battery backup. Rest you can see my screenshot attached. It says all. Earlier i used many watches beatxp, noise but this is above all. I am having notifications of whatsapp, message and caller alerts on. And heart rate preset by the company no additional changes i have done, sleep monitoring working perfectly in on position. So that's all. Accuracy of step count is perfect. Notifications are quick UI is great. Compatibility is fine with both my realme phone. Touch sensitivity is great. And value for money. I have never done any review on Amazon but this is my first one and that too of a watch with insane qualities. Its 24 August and last charged 22 days ago and still left with 27 percent i think it can cross 30 day easily.

Very good hardware and tracking, but buggy software
Firstly, for the price, it is a steal. For 3300, you are getting 1.96" AMOLED, AOD display, 5 ATM, 5 satellite GPS, BT calling and accurate sensors. The good: 1. GPS is accurate. 2. Good number of watch faces to select 3. Activity tracking has good features (Auto pause/Always ON). Fantastic! 4. Good battery life 5. Sensors are very good and accurate. The bad: Software is very buggy. 1. Speaker volume is default low, during calls - you have manually increase 2. After auto pause, even though it shows to be tracking activity, GPS data is not saved! The summary data is way off (calories!) and GPS data is not recorded. This is a serious bug in activity tracking. Observed this during cycling. 3. For workouts menu, no provision to add/remove or reorder the workouts. This is a pain, if your workout is not listed in first page. 4. Silly overlooked bugs ("customization" word is replaced with "complications" word in one of the menus). 5. Strava sync does not sync Heart rate data! Like many users have reported, software is very buggy. Hope xiaomi is noting the reviews. An excellent piece of hardware. If no software updates, this is going to be ruined by buggy software

Disappointing Experience with Several Missing Features and Bugs
1. No Auto-Lock Feature: The watch lacks an auto-lock feature, such as unlocking by holding the side button. This is problematic in situations involving water (showering, washing hands, or rain), leading to accidental touch issues. 2. Missing Auto-Brightness: At this price point, an auto-brightness feature is expected. Its absence impacts battery life, as brightness cannot adjust automatically to ambient light. 3. No Compass or Water Reminder: Basic features like a compass and water reminder are missing, which are typically standard in smartwatches at this price. 4. Inaccurate GPS: The GPS accuracy is subpar, affecting activity tracking. 5. Software Bugs: Step counter issues: After completing 3260 steps yesterday, the stats failed to reset after midnight, showing yesterday’s data incorrectly. (As you can see in the image). Sleep tracking: The watch inaccurately recorded a nap while I was awake and moving regularly. Each time you make or receive a call, the volume automatically resets to the minimum. You have to manually increase it after every call, and there is no option to permanently set it to the maximum. Additionally, Xiaomi's app only provides a basic breath quality score, whereas Amazfit offers more detailed information. In Amazfit, I found insights like how many times I experienced poor breath quality along with the specific times. Xiaomi's app needs to offer more detailed data and insights for a better user experience. 6. Google Calendar Sync Limitations: The watch only syncs events from Google Calendar but does not sync tasks, limiting its productivity functionality. Given these issues, the watch does not meet expectations at this price. The software is particularly disappointing. In comparison, Amazfit provided much more accurate tracking and better app data. I used Amazfit for 2 years, but due to a display issue, I decided to buy a new one and wanted to experience the Hyper OS ecosystem. Being a Xiaomi phone user, I expected more from their smartwatch, but the experience has been underwhelming. I hope future updates address the bugs and improve feature accuracy. In Amazfit, the Zepp OS provides additional features like app installations, which add value. However, I don't see any unique features in Xiaomi's Hyper OS. It feels as simple as what you’d find in other smartwatches in the ₹1,000-₹2,000 range like Fastrack, Fire-Bolt, Noise, Boat, or similar brands. There’s nothing special or any additional features like the ones Zepp OS offers. Xiaomi's Hyper OS seems more like hype than actual innovation. It also lacks animated watch faces, which are common in other smartwatches. They really need to improve several aspects. After 9 months of usage speaker stopped working.

Value for money prduct
I’ve been using this watch for a while, and overall, it’s a great value for money considering the price. The touch quality and UI are absolutely amazing — smooth, responsive, and easy to navigate. The calling features work just as expected — nothing extraordinary, but they do their job well. The fitness tracking features are quite accurate and reliable, so it’s definitely useful if you’re into health and activity monitoring. However, the only downside I’ve noticed is that it disconnects from iOS devices after some time, which can be a bit annoying. Overall, if you’re not heavily dependent on iOS connectivity, this watch is a solid purchase for the price.

Excellent product definitely recommend
Have used Fitbit versa, Samsung Active 2 earlier (both over 20k) this watch at 3.4K is a killer! Provides accurate results, doesn’t count steps when you are in your car or doesn’t have unnecessary features. The customization options on DND and flip to activate is what amazed me and even the ultra power saver mode that saves your battery like a charm. The call quality is great, and screen resolution is unmatched. The watch has an inbuilt GPS that provides you great accuracy in data, also HR monitor. The notifications provide you the option to filter using the app which ones you wish to get. Also, the strap quality is as good as my Samsung watch. What I liked the most is excellent battery backup. I have used it with all the features on, for one week with a single charge. If you put on DND and keep Bluetooth off, I’m sure 15 days it would surely last. Cons: the speaker for calling is placed below the watch that makes it inaudible if you have tied it tightly. Should have been better. The app says you may monitor your BP with the watch but watch doesn’t have such feature (may be they should remove it) Should provide a screen guard along, hard to find one in the market. It’s ok if they charge more or at least provide such option to buy along. Should have been provided an option to customise the physical button for actions. Overall, I recently used boat watches also which clearly lack in terms of accuracy and battery both. Hence this one is a clear winner. Updating this review after over a month’s extensive usage: Activity tracking: works like a charm, automatically detects your walk or cycling and notifies you, and the GPS tracker works like a charm, showing entire trail of your walk or cycling. The Hearteate monitoring accuracy is good too though it really doesn’t monitor it continuously in real time. The watch also has a flashlight mode which works really well. The app and interface is seamless so far and charge lasts over a week with always on display turned on. Never had any sort of charging anxiety as such. My wife uses a 50k worth garmin watch, and believe me it lacks some features that this watch provides. The camera feature is very useful for selfies.

First Mi product that I didn't like.
This is my third Mi watch. I used Mi band 6, Redmi watch 3 Active and now the Redmi watch 5 lite. And I'm using my third Redmi phone. This shows how much I love the brand. But this watch has disappointed me in terms of buid quality. The moment I took out of the box I felt it's very cheap. The dial is too big (even on my big wrist) with flat display (curved display would have made it look a little small). The strap is very cheap and the plastic buckle is not reliable. First we need to change the strap as it is not at all secure. The side button is too cheap compared to my previous watch which feels sturdy and I won't hesitate to use it. But I always hesitate to use this button as I'm worried it would break or stop working. Apart from design and build the watch faces are also horrible. None of them make the watch look desirable. The software is okay and reliable. Skip this and wait for the watch 6.
