My main issue with this map is that it is double sided and the location we were in, meant that we were constantly having to swap from one side to the other. Certainly not ideal either in the car or when out walking.Other than that this is a good map with up to date information on good quality paper. I have used many such maps both for work and play. I like the format as it is more detailed than the 1:50000 equivalent and for example shows such useful navigation cues as field boundaries.Sometimes it is just pot luck whether a map works for the location you are in or not. The house we stayed in had a custom map centred on its location. These are available via the OS. The quality of the printing is inferior to the standard maps but in this case we found the area covered much more useful.The explorer series are excellent maps and reasonably priced. I formerly worked in Land Surveys and found them invaluable for that work. On this occasion my research ahead of the trip was found wanting and not the maps fault.

Ordanance survey still the best maps to trust

Top quality map as ever from The ordenance survey .... but it is a 2015 map ... quite a way out of date really.. it does say this in the text .. .but i missed it... so slightly dissapointed. Quite a few roads and estates missing arround derby

Like all OS maps, this one is produced to a high quality, is easily laid out, with clear symbols. No other maps match the clarity or quality of OS maps.

You can never fault an OS map. This is not exception. Highly recommended

Arrived earlier than expected which is always a bonus. Well packaged. Easy to read with key for easy route planning. Third of this brand of maps I've bought. No complaints at all . Thank you.
