I have used tablets for years. Don't like to lay them flat on a table for fear of something being set on top or swept off the table. This stand is great. It's stable, can poke at the screen without worrying about it falling off the stand. Does it's job without being bulky and the stylus is a great touch. I use a stylus all the time, but they're not always where they need to be and I have to go hunting. Like that the stylus is always with this stand. I'm not sure where I'm getting the most use with this stand. I use it in the kitchen for recipes and my shopping lists. On my desk in my home office to look up my passwords while on my computer. Or, on my night stand to charge my unit. Haven't taken it on a trip yet, but I will. I know it will be a blessing for watching movies on the plane and in a hotel room. It's very sturdy without being heavy or bulky.

Bought this book holder over two year ago and it's a gem. Obviously it has held up well, but more importantly it is easy to use and very effective. I have used it to hold books, but mostly use it to hold an older iPad that I use as a personal cookbook. It is well designed to get a grip on either and is quite stable in use. I don't use it often, but the wand for touching the screen on the iPad is very welcome when my hands are covered in flour or such. Folds flat to store easily in a drawer.I recommend it highly.

It's OK. It's nice looking and well built. I have 2 issues with it. The first is that it's difficult to swipe up from the bottom of the iPad because the stand gets in the way. The second is that I don't find the 3 positions very useful. The most upright position is too upright for my liking and the middle one is too far down. I'd like it in between. This is a personal preference. Otherwise, I like the stand a lot. It's nice having the stylus handy.[edit Nov. 10, 2017] I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars because I realized the problem with swiping up only happens with the iPad Pro, not with the 4th gen iPad. The Pro is so much thinner than the 4th gen that it sits well back from the lip that holds the stand in place and that's what makes it hard to swipe up from the bottom of the screen. The stand was made before the Pro came out and it works perfectly with the 4th gen iPad, which is what it was made for. It should be judged based on what it's designed to do, not on how well it works with a tablet that didn't even exist when the stand was made. I've been using it a lot in the kitchen lately and I still like it a lot. It is very stable and easy to move around. I would recommend it.

Prepara iPrep is the best tablet stand and recipe holder! It will hold an iPad or other tablet, with a cover, standing vertically or horizontally. The stand is stable, and the display is set at a perfect angle for reading, checking a recipe, or watching a movie. It takes up a tiny amount of space - so is particularly convenient as a recipe stand, and the nifty little stylus allows me to move around a recipe on my iPad without touching the screen with my hands. And it folds flat so can slip into a drawer when not in use. I have used one regularly for over a year, and recently bought more for my second home, and as gifts for friends who have tablets. You can't go wrong with iPrep.

3.5 because the stand is nice and I liked the handy stylus but the stylus lasted only 2 mos. For $30, it should have lasted longer. Can you get a replacement with 5 year warranty?

I bought this to use while watching movies and shows on my iPad. It is a good size, adjusts up or down with the push of a button, and is made of very good quality. I’ve had mine over a year and use it daily. I would highly recommend this if you need a stand for your device.

Have looked at obtaining a tablet easel for some time. Finally pulled the trigger and now wonder why I waited so long. One review commented this product was cheap plastic but I would disagree. It has substantial heft and does not feel cheap at all. The rubberized components are well thought out preventing both slippage of the tablet as well as the easel itself. The back also seems a little larger than many of the other products so a tablet or kindle fit securely. Easy to raise and easy to lower by pressing the button. And using it for a Kindle is great. Makes reading so much easier. Highly recommended.
