CIPA 93448 EVO Formance Alfas Maximum Intensity 9006 Ultra White Halogen Bulbs - Twin Pack

I compared this bulb with 2 other bulbs leaving the CIPA 93448 EVO in one head light and using the other headlight as a refrence1. first the stock bulb= not much brighter than stock but it is whiter but still has a little yellow tint to it2. xenon ultra blue bulb this is a true blue light i about 2years ago.= 10x brighter but after driving with the blue bulb it looked yellow to me thats why i compareed my old stock bulb.Verdict i would buy again and i am keeping these as they do what they are suppose to do but i dont agree with the title (Ultra White).

These are the same color as the PIAA Extreme Whites they are replacing, but they are more intense. The only thing better would be H.I.D's but for those I would have to change to projector headlights. Great product. I just hope they last. --- Update 3/1/11 So I've had the bulbs for 3 days, and one of them went out. SLowly. I was extremly careful when installing them and made sure NOTHING touched the bulb itself, and it still went out. Amazon is sending me another pair, so let's see how long the new pair last.--- UPDATE 5/4/11 So now the other bulb went out. I replaced them BOTH when I got my replacements and it's out. I took all precautions necessary to make sure the bulb was not touched or dirty when installing and they still went out. I'm just gonna get an H.I.D kit and call it a day. Never again.

For the price of the unit, You cannot beat them. On a blacked out country back road/highway, these lights are pure white. Man they light up the road. This is my second pair of lights because this is my second vehicle. They have a tintish blue color and give a HID output without the blindness of a HID system. The out put is a little bit further than OEM lights but the color is spot on. I've been recommending these lights to all my buds who like to work on cars. For the price of these you cannot go wrong!

I'd give this 5 starts had they not lied about the temperature of the light. Add said 5500K but the package said 4200KStill it's much brighter light. No it's not a sub for HID. But for the money it's a good bulb if you can settle for 4200K t

These are ok. Better than OEM but nowhere near as good as HID. I had an aftermarket HID that was awesome but keep blowing fuses and I went with these instead. They are reasonable\y white, but I feel they need to be brighter.

They are 150% brighter and whiter than the OEM bulbs. They have a really nice blue tint to the light. They do run a bit hot but are only bright on new headlight assembly units. They can be made brighter by taking a razor and shaving off the blue around where the coil is. This will turn the light from 4200k to 3700k. It will be a warm white with about 1000 lumens short of an HID kit.

Okay, I bought these knowing that the reviews seem to comprise mostly of people saying that they last anywhere from a day to a few weeks. Well, I'm happy to report I've had these for at least a month and I haven't noticed a decline in performance. These are seriously bright!

as described and work well but one major issue.these are not DOT rated for on road use and this is not mentioned anywhere but small print on the back of the package.
