I installed it on the fence in my backyard, and it took less than five minutes — super easy and straightforward. The solar battery is a huge plus; it keeps the camera charged at all times, so I don’t have to worry about running out of power or constantly recharging it. The wide-angle lens is one of my favorite features — it lets me see the entire backyard clearly, and the video quality is excellent, even at night. The night vision is really impressive; I can still see everything clearly, even in low light. The motion detection works exactly as it should — it only records when movement is detected, which saves storage and battery life. I use it mostly to check on my dogs when they’re outside, but it would also be perfect for monitoring a front door or driveway to keep an eye on deliveries or visitors. It’s reliable, well-built, and fits seamlessly with the rest of my Arlo system. I’m planning to expand with more indoor and outdoor units — it’s that good.
