I most like being able to insert the thermometer into the raw meat and check the temperature as the cooking progressed. I threw away all my old long stemmed thermometers!

I only used them once and feel that they are not the most accurate. I really don't need these to get my food right. i was more curious than anything. I would buy one more expeNsive rather than these cheap ones just for the meat listed. aDDITIONALLY i HAD TO GUESS THE MEAT WAS ACTUALLY AT THE TEMPERATURES WHERE JUST WORDS WERE LISTED. sorry about caps

I bought these to do a turkey breast on the grill rotisserie and it worked great. The turkey was perfect.I do wish that there were numbers on the full scale but not a big deal.Have not tried the beef one yet as I typically use a corded probe with a transmitter. However, with a rotisserie I would need a VERY long cord to let it wrap up for a few hours :)As an update, these are NOT dishwasher safe! I know from experience. Taking one star away but otherwise work great. I will actually be ordering another set and keeping these out of the dishwasher this time.

Extremely accurate, and a real bargain. Just wish they were not tinybutton sized, which creates a small problem for my aging eyes.....

Works great on the BBQ with Chicken or Beef and cleans up easily and seems to be accurate. Good Buy.

These work well. No complaints. My man uses them for smoking on the smoker. Comes in handy also. good product
