Screen icons Bridges and Fonda doing their thing in 80s sunshine. Grit and humour and a bit of sex. What’s not to like?

Fonda acts well in this whodunnitJeff Bridges is well…Jeff Bridges laid back loveable slightly dopey aw shucks thing.Has a sort of Brian De Palma feel to it.The denuement you can see a mile off but it’s enjoyable enough.

Great story, script and performances. Incredible 80s aesthetic. So glad I found this movie! Jeff Bridges and Raul Julia are 🔥 which doesn't hurt!

I ordered this film hoping it would be a good old thriller but it was really disappointing. I actually stopped watching less than half way through because there was no flow and it wasn’t captivating at all. I love Jeff Bridges films but this one I can’t recommend.

This was too long and not much happening until the last half hour.

This film was amazing and the acting was superb, such a classic.

Excellent neo-noir. Great acting, great plot, superb photography
