This item arrived quickly. The box is very thick and durable. It's foldable for easy storage and can be set up in a quick minute. While this is advertised as a whelping box, it can be used for a pool, ball pit, or bathing station. There are five sizes to and three colors to choose from. I got the smallest size for my Shih Tzu to play and bathe. It includes two pee pads and fifteen whelping puppy ID collars. Great price for the versatility in uses.

Generally, our dogs give birth (whelping) in bed or under our supervision. For this, we need an enclosure easily accessible, waterproof bottom and an enclosure to contain the mother. This unit meets those needs. The size is a little big since we raise small dachshunds, but should serve even larger dogs. The quality is there with heavy duty materials that are easily cleaned. When giving birth, different dogs have different behaviors. Some just lie there and squirt out the puppies with ease. Some dig at the bed relying on automatic behavior of digging a shallow hole with sloping sides to keep the puppies near the mom for warmth and nourishment. Others grab the bed shake and chew; dig and act like they are mad at the world. The quality of this bed stands up to all of these behaviors. In short this whelping box is a great value for the money. Check out the prices! It performs well and serves its purpose well. It is big enough for you to get in the box with medium to smaller dogs if needed. I would have loved to have had this 25 years ago when we started breeding.

The size of this box is great for large breed or larger dogs. Smaller dog breeds will have issues with the mother getting in and out unassisted. The bottom is waterproof and easy to clean, and there is a drain in case you want to use a hose.The only improvement that I can suggest is to have the sides be a little stiffer, as my 3 week old Golden Retrievers can push down the sides and escape.

This is the perfect sized for kiddos to have fun in! It's a great material and holds quite a bit of water. We love it!

This is a nice size round whelping box or pool. IT folds compactly. It has a waterproof bottom with a drain. Overall it look sturdy. I ordered the 39 inch one with 12 inch sides hoping it would be a playpen of sorts for a 4.5 week old kitten to keep her off the floor and contained. I wanted something with an easy to clean bottom that could hold a sleeping crate, litter box, give the kitten room to move around and hopefully keep the kitten contained. I planned to put it in my office and move it around the house as needed to prevent stepping on or tripping on the kitten. It is an epic fail for keeping the kitten contained -- I thought I had a week or two before she could climb out, but nope. The diameter is fine but the sides need to be MUCH higher and I probably need a screen lid too.
