Great game! I love the deck-building concept through the different seasons of the show. If you are a lover of the show or have never seen it before, you will love this game!

Loved this game! Only gave it a 4 because the directions are confusing. Wish the boxes just swapped out all cards when a new box is opened to make it a little easier to understand too. Takes a while to get it all down but otherwise my family and I enjoy playing it.

Great game with clear instructions. Each time you play a box (kind of like levels) the game changes slightly. Keeps the game interesting and dynamic. It's mostly a deck building game with some fun additions. You don't really need to know the avatar story (no trivia or anything) but it adds to the fun if you do. We tried getting through it with 2 players but ultimately needed a third to get through all the boxes as you play as a team against the game mechanics. It was high quality and worth the money spent. Played with 2 adults and a 7yr old for the majority. The game was difficult and made you work for the wins, which was rewarding.

Love this game so far. If you liked Hogwarts battle and you're a fan of avatar you'll love this one too. The organization is better on this one as well than the Hogwarts one but same good quality pieces for the most part. I don't love the fire nation boat piece and wish it was just plastic or something but I can just 3d print one.

Good fun & easy to learn (would recommend finding a YouTube tutorial if rule books aren’t your thing). Starts off very welcoming but does get more challenging as you go; although never really seems overwhelming as you’ll learn the do’s and don’t fairly quickly as you progress. Also has good replay ability and can fill time well too. 8 boxes, each lasting on average an hour and a half. Good quality product too, feels like a lot of care went into the product. If you’re a fan it’s definitely worth at least finding a YouTube video with the rules and a little gameplay to see if it’s something you’ll like. You could have a lot of fun!

This game is great. Right off the bat I want to say if you enjoy Avatar and you want a board game for it you should get this. This game is super easy to learn, new players could easily learn by watching someone else play, and I have tested this myself. Somewhat difficult with 2 players. Some levels are harder then others but generally if you prioritize keeping the ship back at all cost you’ll never lose but the game is challenging enough that it’s always possible and I’ve definitely lost a few times, which is good, it wouldn’t be fun if you breezed through it. Overall the story holds in card game format and I had a blast playing this with my girlfriend, highly recommend.

I will say that this game is quite similar to something like Hogwarts battle, but with a few twists. Such as some characters only being able to use certain elements, with the game following the plot of the show somewhat. Setup is tougher than most other games, due to the need for certain cards to go to specific boxes and having to be removed partially when moving on. The deck also gets fairly large later on. But the cards (at least in my game) are incredibly rough and basically stick to each other (from the very first time the box was opened). Making shuffling the cards properly tough.

Dieses Spiel ist großartig! Und eigentlich könnte ich jetzt aufhören. Aber ich tue es nicht, ich schreibe noch was dazu. Fangen wir mal mit den Basics an - das ist ein kooperatives Deckbuilding-Spiel für bis zu vier Spieler. Also perfekt für einen Spieleabend in kleiner Gruppe, mit Partnerin oder Partner, Freunden oder Kindern. Die Aufmachung ist wirklich großartig, alle Karten sind liebevoll designed und alles sieht sehr wertig aus. Ziel des Spiels ist es, die Story von Avatar nachzuspielen - vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Es empfiehlt sich daher, die Serie vorher mal zu schauen, da sonst sehr viel weniger Spielspaß entsteht, und (natürlich) die gesamte Geschichte im Spiel gespoilert wird. Aber aus meiner Sicht sollte man hier nur zuschlagen, wenn man Fan von Avatar ist, da sonst viele Details und kleinere Gameplay-Elemente weniger sinnvoll erscheinen. Aber erstmal zum Inhalt - alles ist hochwertig produziert und sieht sehr gut aus. Die Karten sind durchschnittlich, aber auch nicht schlecht. Normale Spielkarten eben. Alles weitere ist aus Presspappe und muss ausgestochen werden. Kenner von solcherlei Spielen werden sich vielleicht an ein anderes Spiel mit einem gewissen Waisenjungen erinnnern, der eine Narbe in Blitzform auf der Stirn trägt. Es ist erkennbar, wessen Geistes Kind dieses Spiel ist - das Vorbild ist (vermutlich) ein sehr ähnliches Harry Potter Spiel - ebenfalls kooperativ, man spielt die 7 Jahre Hogwarts durch. Doch die Schwächen bei Harry Potter sind hier deutlich, deutlich ausgebessert worden. Die Regeln sind weniger restriktiv und die Kämpfe interessanter. Die Kartenakquise durchdachter. Man beginnt nicht jedes mal mit den 10 Startkarten, sondern wächst im Laufe der Geschichte und erhält von Anfang an bessere Karten. Das erleichert den Spieleinstieg und das Fortsetzen, und fühlt sich auch einfach besser an. Das Spiel ist nicht leicht, aber mit Glück und Verstand und sehr, sehr, sehr viel Kooperation kann man hier wirklich viel Spaß haben. Die Nebenaufgaben sind ein interessanter Touch. Ich habe mittlerweile zweimal die gesamte Geschichte gespielt, andere Wege und Möglichkeiten ergriffen und mein Deck anders aufgebaut, was zu sehr unterschiedlichen Spieltaktiken geführt hat. Durch das veränderte Shopsystem ist der Kartendurchlauf auch sehr viel höher, was den Wiederspielwert zusätzlich erhöht. Wer also -wie ich - Fan von Avatar ist, und Lust hat, mal einen kooperativen Deckbuilder zu spielen, der ist hier an der richtigen Adresse! Wer sich jetzt dachte, dass diese Review aus Wortfetzen bestand, die eher wenig sinnvoll erscheinen, dem empfehle ich, das Spiel einfach mal zu bestellen, die Regeln zu lesen und zu testen. Es ist ein anderes Spielkonzept, und dementsprechend spielt man nicht gegeneinander, sondern gegen das Spielbrett. Ich habe hier viel Spaß gehabt, und kann es jedem empfehlen. Aus meiner Sicht ist dieses Spiel sogar besser als der Ableger vom blitznarbigen Waisenjungen (wenn man die Zusatzinhalte weglässt). Aber das ist meine Meinung. Unabhängig von Meinung bleibt es ein Fakt, dass dieses Spiel großartig ist!

Como antaño las notas del cole, "Necesita mejorar". Toma como base el juego previo de "Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle", sin embargo consigue una mayor inmersión en la historia de Avatar, esto es gracias a las cartas de misión y a la preparación de los capítulos. Las misiones nos sitúan en acontecimientos conocidos de la serie, que los seguidores de la misma disfrutarán recordando. Y la preparación de cada capítulo añade, además de las misiones comentadas, villanos y aliados acordes al momento de la historia que cubre dicho capítulo, esto hace que los personajes entren y salgan de juego en los momentos en que tomaron partido en la historia. En general la adaptación es muy buena y en mi opinión superior a los otros juegos de ese sistema (Toy Story y Harry Potter) y el arte es fiel a la serie. Sin embargo, el problema reside en caer de nuevo en errores en la mecánica base de este género de juegos de mesa, la construcción de mazo. No concibo cómo hoy día, no añaden una manera de optimizar el mazo, y renovar el mercado. Es algo básico de este género. La otra gran pega es la calidad de los componentes, las cartas son bastas y difícilmente barajables si las comparamos con los otros juegos o con cualquier juego que haga uso principalmente de cartas. El juego es muy sencillo y las instrucciones sencillas, en 5 minutos estás jugando. Se puede jugar en solitario, aunque se disfruta más en compañía, en especial compartiendo mesa con otros 3 fans de la serie. Pero no tiene problemas de escalabilidad, eso sí, conviene hacer uso de 4 personajes por partida. Reglas caseras para mi indispensables para que no se atasque el juego, sobre todo si pretendes jugarlo en modo campaña. Mi recomendación es que solo lo consideres si disfrutaste mucho la serie y además te gustan los juegos de construcción de mazos independientemente de la dificultad de este.

It is a very beautiful and challenging game. I can highly recommend it for people who are fans of Avatar. It's really fun to take on the role of your favorite character and experience the adventure yourself. On the way you meet all your favorite people from the series. I'm only halfway through and have already had over 15 hours of fun.
