I've used this is two of my projects so far along with some heated inserts I purchased at the same time. I'm still learning the best way to apply pressure, which tips work best for what type insert, etc but I can say these have aided immensely in elevating my prints to the next level. They seem to be well made and haven't discolored from the heat as far as I can tell, so the tolerance is there. At the time I purchased it, I believe it was $20, but have seen it go for cheaper, but even at that price I think it is a good value for the money.

Perfect. Worked well with 900m soldering iron

Attempted to just use a solder tip on a nut going into plastic, but the solder tip sticking through led to burnt plastic. I bought this set immediately after and it works great! Fits Hakko soldering iron perfectly and is really easy to use.

Worked well with the soldering tool to melt the insert into some 3d printed projects. Good accessory tool to have while exploring projects to build. I’m sure there are other projects we will use this on.

Working great to insert magnets into 3D prints. But be warned, heating a magnet will reduce or eliminate the magnetism! Keep one as a sacrificial magnet specifically for heating and then swap or glue in your actual magnet.

First time using heat set insers but the they were good quality and not too expensive and worked well and easy. Would recommend and buy again!

I use these tips to install brass inserts in my 3D prints. They work great and provide professional looking results. Takes seconds to swap them out for my regular soldering tips.

ho preso questa punta per utilizzarla con il Saint Smart ts100 per inserire inserti filettati nelle mie stampe 3d giusto per non dover ogni volta usare una punta che utilizzo per saldare. calza a pennello, ed è molto comoda da usare. ho visto che funziona bene anche con un'altro saldatore molto simile di un'altra marca.
