The Microflex SafeGrip disposable, chlorinated, powder-free, extended length latex glove has textured fingertips. It has a palm thickness of 11.0 mils and a finger thickness of 14.2 mils, and is 11.6" long from the tip of the middle finger to the edge of the beaded wrist cuff, which is 7.9 mils thick. The extended length cuff helps protect the hand, wrist, and forearm. The glove is suitable for automotive, emergency medical services, healthcare, industrial safety, laboratory, and mortuary applications. Latex provides better elasticity than nitrile, chloroprene, or vinyl, and better puncture resistance than vinyl. The glove is textured on the ends of the fingers for improved grip compared to a glove with a smooth texture. It has been washed in a diluted chlorine-based solution to help reduce tackiness, providing lower surface friction than a non-chlorinated glove and allowing quick donning in wet environments. This powder-free glove leaves no residue, helping to reduce the likelihood of spreading latex allergens and bacteria compared to a powdered glove. The glove meets the emergency medical glove requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code 1999 (2008 edition). The color of this ambidextrous glove is blue. Tensile strength, measured in megapascals (MPa), is the amount of force required to rip a glove; the higher the number, the stronger the glove material. This glove has a tensile strength of 34 MPa before aging and 28 MPa after aging. Elongation measures how much a glove can be stretched before it breaks. It is expressed as a percent of the original length of the glove at the moment of breakage, and the higher the percent, the more the glove can stretch. This glove has an elongation of 750% before aging and 600% after aging. Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) is a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) quality specification for the defect rate in surgical and exam gloves. The FDA requires an AQL of 1.5 for surgical gloves and 2.5 for exam gloves. This glove has an AQL of 1.5, which means the defect level from a large sample of the gloves will not exceed 1.5%. Microflex examination gloves meet or exceed applicable standards imposed by ASTM International, formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and the FDA.Disposable and limited-use gloves are used in medical, forensic, scientific, art, and industrial applications. Gloves are commonly made from flexible materials such as latex, nitrile, chloroprene, and vinyl. While most disposable gloves are designed for either hand, some can be purchased in hand-specific models. They are offered powdered or powder-free; silicone or silicone-free; chlorinated or non-chlorinated; coated or uncoated; with a standard- or extended-length cuff; sterile or non-sterile; and with textured or smooth fingers, fingertips, and palms. A glove's abrasion, cut, and puncture resistance is defined by glove material and thickness, and may be improved with the use of certain exterior coatings. Abrasion resistance means the glove helps protect the hand from contact with rough objects. Cut resistance means the glove helps protect the hand from blades and sharp instruments. Puncture resistance means the glove helps protect the hand from pointed objects such as pins and needles. Chemical resistance means the glove helps protect the hand from certain chemicals. Chemical resistance is defined by glove material, thickness, and length, as well as the work environment and chemicals likely to be encountered. For information on the chemical resistance of this glove, consult the manufacturer's chemical resistance guide. Microflex Corporation manufactures disposable gloves. The company, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Reno, NV, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485:2003.

Old ones were better
Last 3 boxes I've gotten have been super messed up. Been buying these for a long time for work, they used to be great cause they don't rip and don't get ate by diesel fuel. The last 3 boxes I've got have been super thin, so thin they're discolored. Don't fit right anymore. Idk what happened but they're junk now.

THE BEST GLOVES FOR MY PROFESSION!!
Working in the automotive repair industry you need thick and durable gloves that’ll be hard to rip and can handle the chemicals that are found in automotive fluids! They are even a safeguard against certain amounts of heat before you really feel the heat on contact.

Excellent gloves for many uses
I had been using the lighter-weight version of Microflex latex gloves to protect my hands while washing car wheels, cleaning the BBQ grill, transplanting succulents, painting, and other uses. These extra thick gloves truly are thicker and last longer. Plus the length covers your wrist.

Better than expected!
I bought these at the start of COVID-19 for obvious reasons and ended up falling in love with them for their super toughness and durability. They are literally like a full box of rubber dishwashing gloves and I use them for everything...they're even tough enough for gardening and things of that nature.

Gloves are good, box gets destroyed in shipping.
These gloves are great, strong and have a long sleeve. However, they are shipped in a plastic bag which doesn't protect the box the gloves are in. The box gets destroyed in shipping.

Best gloves you can get for the money
I fist saw them at a famous youtuber, and wanted to get some similar. I use them for oil changes and cleaning around the house like washing dishes, or the bathroom. The wife loved them too, i had to get more and more. You can use them multiple times if you wanted or if you didn't get them oiled up or harsh chemicals.

If the rubber gloves fit, well, wear ‘em!
When they arrived, the product’s claims were, indeed obvious: These latex gloves are longer than the standard options, a full 12-inches long from tip of the finger to the end at the extended rolled cuff. I gamely donned a pair for a test drive. When you put them on, they feel thick but you’ll have the dexterity and tactility you need to deal with household cleaning, gardening, or other dirty jobs. They are made of natural rubber latex (beware people with allergies) and provides durable barrier hand protection against exposure to harsh soap and cleaning chemicals. Unlike store-bought dish washing gloves, these are ambidextrous and unlined but very slippery smooth inside. They glide on and snap off easily; the fit is tailored and snug, very comfortable from the tip of my fingers through my forearms. The gloves exterior is also smooth, but heavy texturing along the fingers gives these rubbery companions a strong grip to handle delicate items like glassware or heavy-duty scouring of nooks and crannies. Stretchy and strong, I can see a single pair lasting for multiple uses. I’ll admit: these gloves did the job well and are pretty darn great!

I don't often rant about a product but...
These are so much better than the thin gloves I usually wear to clean and do electronics. They don't break apart and they're comfortable. They're also textured to improve grip. You can re-use them if you want too. These were recommended to me by a mechanic and I must say they're worth every penny. I think the cheap nitrile ones still have their use as a disposable gloves, especially to avoid contamination. But I will use these for the more heavy-duty applications from now on. Just try them, the thin ones don't even compare. Highly recommended!

These gloves are great for working on car
With bog standard latex gloves, i could go through a box of gloves every two or three days working on a a car. with these microflex safegrip gloves, i use a single pair for an entire day's work. These gloves are fantastic for doing car maintenance. the thick latex does not rip with physical abuse; it is far thicker than the standard nitrile glove, but i still have fingertip dexterity. In the shop I can keep the same pair throughout the day vs. cheaper gloves that rip and are constantly replaced. the long cuffs help to minimize oil running down my arms, and they help with taking the gloves off and putting them back on later. these gloves are a bit more expensive than the standard gloves, but the box ends up lasting far longer becuase i can put the gloves back on (protip: use some talcum powder to help regloving on hot/sweaty days)Four stars becuase they're latex (watch for allergies) and also becuase Amazon doesn't sell these in Medium.
