Less than 2 years and literally melting.
Didn't buy through Amazon so never saw the reviews. Have had issues with it not switching back on if I turn it off for a minute and nozzle always falls off. Found today that was because the ring at the front is actually melting. Have had it less than 2 years and never had a hairdryer melt on me before. Would not recommend, seems dangerous.

Do not buy!
Bought this hairdryer over a year ago as I wanted a good quality hair dryer to shorten the amount of time I spent drying my hair. Nearly straight away the hairdryer started malfunctioning, changing speeds as I dried my hair to turning off completely due to over heating. I started using it on a lower heat setting but wasn’t getting as good results so went back to higher heat setting. I started to smell burning now and again when drying my hair and immediately turned it off, the plastic around the nozzle of the dryer was completely melting away as well as the seam on the plastic underneath, and smoke started coming out form the fan at the back. As well as that the dryer itself is very heavy and bulky and quite tiring to use. Very annoying as I believed after spending so much I would have this hair dryer for at least a few years.

Didn't last long
I bought this hairdryer for the diffuser, which is really excellent. It's dried my wavy hair beautifully and, as the diffuser is such a good size, does the job faster and at a gentler heat setting than my old hairdryer. However, it is heavy and bulky (forget travelling with it) and also on the noisy side. After I'd had it about a year, the fan guard at the back fell off. It wouldn't clip back on and stay on, which wasn't too big a deal for me as my hair isn't that long, but meant my daughter couldn't use this as her longer hair risked getting tangled up in it. Now I've had it almost 2 years and the diffuser has fallen off. The flimsy plastic ring holding it in place has broken so the diffuser won't stay attached, meaning I need a new hairdryer pronto! I wouldn't buy this again due to the cons outweighing the pros. My previous hairdryer was cheaper and lasted a decade despite daily use, so this didn't live up to my expectations.

Dangerous - melts in use.
This dryer melts in your hand ( not in the good way). Can't use concentrator with full power. Refund almost impossible to obtain from manufacturers.

Melted hairdryer!
Wish I'd read some of these reviews before buying this hairdryer! After about a year, the hairdryer started to melt! The nozzle of the dryer got so hot, the plastic ran off the hairdryer. Very frustrated at having to buy another one so soon, particularly given the price of this one!
