Comfortable and attractive
This camisole was perfect with soft material, lots of drain pockets, and a velcro close front that gave easy access to the drains and/or dressings. The camisole had pink ribbon edging along the neck and down the front that made it pretty and a little less "medical". I liked the sleeveless design which made in easy to wear under other clothing. The item washes well (Nota bene: be sure to close the velcro opening before washing so the ribbon does get caught on the velcro and fray).

Quality is outstanding and meets need post surgical
The product was utilized in hospital and post hospital. Fits true to size. Comparably to similar products I tried this was the choice..why the material a cotton, easy on had the large pockets for drains..velcro was very good quality ..highly recommend this product..I purchased many of these as this was the only selection that was comfortable to wear as a camisole and a pj top with out fear of ripping out a drain..others I tried with zippers the pocket was not large enough..and the velcro side came in contact with surgical areas.

Had a mastectomy, was easy to get on affected area and arm. Extremely soft, hand wash, make sure Velcro front is closed when washing or will catch on trim

Purchased for a doube mastectomy procedure
I had a double mastectomy 1 week ago, and this was purchased to assist during the recovery. The surgery meant that raising my arms above my head would not be feasible at first, hence this specially made camisole that has a velcro strip up the middle in the front. Additionally, on the interior there are places for the drains to be housed. The fabric was very soft and a nice quality. The velcro fastening system worked well and stayed shut reliably. In my case, however, the fit was terrible. I wear a size 12-14 typically and ordered the large. It was loose, but in a comfortable manner so I doubt the medium or xl would have been a better fit. I am 6'2'' tall though and this was INCREDIBLY short on me. I am used to shirts being slightly short, but this after washing and drying is a full on crop length. It is Ok to wear underneath something, but I could never wear it with say a pair of shorts or something and go out it in. If you are going through a mastectomy, in hind sight I could have used any short sleeve or long sleeve shirt that buttoned up the front and simply pinnd the drains to the shirt or to a lanyard. Consequently, I feel that I payed far too much for what this product offered. It does wash well other than a LOT of shrinkage. If a kind soul provided this as a gift prior to surgery, I proably would have loved it- but given the price I paid, not so much.

I’m really sorry if you need the shirt but happy you found it.
At this point we don’t have a lot of choices so the shirt works really well. I do suggest not washing it with a lot of things and make sure the Velcro is completely closed. I’m going to try washing it in a pillowcase next time. The Velcro sticks to everything including the shirt itself. Don’t spray stain remover on it because it leaves spots. Make sure the drains are all the way down in the pocket because the drain spout scratch your skin if you don’t get it all the way in. This shirt has been the best though.

Life saver after double mastectomy
This top was a life saver after my double mastectomy. I ended up with 4 drains, and the drain tubes hang down and are a real pain. This top had 4 inner pockets and I don't know what I would have done without it. It opens in the front with velcro.I'd recommend this to anyone facing mastectomy surgery.I'd recommend buying a little on the larger side, because the drain bulbs take up a lot of space, and makes it harder to close with them all in the top.

Disappointed
It was too small. Also, the sewing quality was bad. Quite sad I paid so much for it. But its hard to find these in my size, so ill try to make due.

THE most useful post-mastectomy item
If you are facing a mastectomy with drains, you need this camisole. It was my most valued post-mastectomy item by far. I ordered it from Amazon and packed it in my bag for the hospital. When the nurse came into my room after surgery with 4 safety pins for my drains, my husband pulled out this soft cozy camisole, and I easily slipped into it, put my 4 drain bags in the pockets, and closed the velcro front closure. It was a wondeful improvement over the hospital plan. I am so happy that I discovered this comfortable and necessary camisole! When I returned home, I was better able to manage my drains with the camisole, and it was easy to wear under my button down shirts. I wore this non-stop day and night (except for washing) for 2 weeks while I had my drains. I can’t even imagine how I would have managed my drains without it!The breast pads were a nice plus because they helped make my appearance more normal for my young grandchildren when they visited. That is the only time I wore them, but I was very happy to have them for that first visit with them before reconstruction.
