These are 6mm wide stiches, which I prefer for the rough stuff I usually do. Nothing like art work, just repairs and basic utility things. Sharp diamond punch makes a nice little slanted hole. I got a leather press recently, but not many tools yet. These stitching punches were on the list and are pretty nice to have. Keep things even and straight. Stainless steel too... Asking price for the set of 4 was $5.99.

Still looking for punches that don't break.
I have purchased several sets of punches for stitching leather, and none last long. This set i purchased lasted through 1 project and a tine broke off. I really needed that size for the projects I'm working on.

Great Little Stitching Tools!
I deeply wish I had a leather sewing machine, but I don't. Not enough room. My husband and I both love working on leather projects and hand stitching is TOUGH on my hands. These punches are made of high quality steel (don't feel flimsy or bendy at all) and they make it easy to hand stitch leather (which is one of my least favorite things to do, if I'm being honest!). They're very sharp, the handles aren't too long to use with a mallet, and the manufacturer provides information on oiling/keeping the tools around for a while.I recommend these, especially if you want something inexpensive and quality. Not everyone can go to Tandy for their tools!

No complaints. It's a good spacing for general use.
Punches easily and the holes are clean. 6mm hole spacing.

Sharp, with a nice weight
A nice set of punches that help you evenly create that cool slightly-slanted hand-sewn edge on leather goods.They've got a good weight to them and are sharp, but you'll still need to whack them with a hammer to get them through the leather. (For example, I couldn't push them through 2mm leather using only my hand.)

Good quality punches
Nice and sharp punches through easily, great spacing for making knife sheaths. Easy to use, does a great job excellent quality product for the price.
