How can i reset my tag to factory mode?

Press the function button on the SmartTags quickly 4 times and then hold it for a couple of seconds on the 5th press until you hear a beep, indicating that the Smart Tag has been factory reset. Now, you can pairing again.

How does the smart tag work when it beyond the connection distance?

Once paired to your phone, smart tags work through Apple iCloud. They rely on other nearby Apple devices like IPhone, IPad etc. to update its location. It updates its location as soon as it comes in range with an Apple device. It does not have a GPS.

What should I do if Smart tag is not updating location?

Check and Turn on your Two-Factor Authentication, bluetooth settings, find my settings, and location service. And Check your iCloud have been login in or not.

Is smart tag a suitable device for tracking pets?

We do not recommend HH-Tech Smart Tags to track people and pets. Smart Tags do not give a linear location update. They do not have a GPS. They rely on other nearby Apple devices to update location from time to time.
