99 light duty f250 front shocks
This is a pair of shocks although nowhere in the description does it say that!I took a gamble on it and what you see in the photo is what you get, I was happy to find two shocks in the pkg.I bought these for the front of my light duty F250 because I have a 9' western pro snow plow and wanted to help level it up, but there no listings for front air shocks of any kind for this or any other truck so I cross referanced the dim's and mount's and came up with these as a near perfect match I just had to narrow the bottom mount bolt tube by a 1/4".(1/8" off each side to keep it centered)They worked great for lifting up the front of the truck when the plow is on just air 'em up to 100 psi when the plow is on and let the air down to 20 psi when its off (20 psi is min when unloaded to prevent damage to the shocks)

Monroe = old reliable
Installed on a 1976 Mustang II. Tires were rubbing fender from sagging springs and wider the factory wheel/tire. Installed in less than an hour and as usual Monroe knows how to build a shock, no complaints.

Great for VW ball joint beams
Used these on my 67 VW Bug with 4" narrowed ball joint beam. Running them with just one set of leaves and it improved the ride and added a good bit of adjust-ability in ride height at least 4-5 inches. I did have to modify the bottom mount/bushing to make em fit my trailing arms just ran a drill bit thru them until the hole got bigger took an extra 30min.

New softer ride for a 1983 4wd Toyota.
These made the ride on my 1983 toyota 4wd much softer in the back. I was inspired to research and buy some similar shocks and adapt them to the front,also a leaf spring suspension, to soften the ride in the front. The system works great. My only complaint is that the rebound is a bit severe but definitely worth it.This is an unhappy update. approx one month ago the left shock blew out. I have never exceeded the manufactures recommended pressure. I'm not sure why it failed but it did. I tried to contact Monroe on one occasion but the hold time became excessive. Not sure just what to do next.
