This was gifted to me by a dear friend after my grandmother's passing November 2020. The pearl dislodged once last year. I was able to put it back on, no problem. I just recently lost it again. I admit, I never took it off, including showering, swimming,etc so I cannot complain. I'm buying another today because I cannot find the pearl and it reminds me of my grandmother but this time, I will remove it when engaging in certain activities to extend the life. Everything else about the pendant looks and has lasted like brand new. I always get compliments. This is a great piece of jewelry.
