Works well
We have a small pool, not long enough to get a good workout. I actually considered an endless pool machine, but this is costly and as we rent the house for short term rentals, I was reluctant to add yet one more gadget that could malfunction or could be a liability, just for my use. This works surprisingly well. I think it is easier to swim in place than swimming in an large pool, but for my purposes, it allowed me to use my small pool for exercise, rather than just for dipping. I plan to just ramp up the speed in order to bring my heart rate up.The only thing I would change is to lengthen the tether. I have a railing which is 3 feet from the edge of the pool and the tether didn't reach far enough to allow me to be in the center of the pool and for my legs to not be kicking against the side wall. I borrowed my husbands resistance band, then went out and ought 2 long bungee cords with carabiner ends to lengthen it. The belt fits comfortably and it was loose enough to turn from swimming prone to swimming a back stroke with ease. The tether should be mounted at least 3 feet above the deck, so that it is out of the way when you swim.

Works well, even tethered low
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to swim for exercise in our small pool and this device does the trick. It’s easy to use, bungee is long enough for what I need. Some indicated it might have to be tethered high in order to keep your body level with the water, but I’m tethered a few inches above the water and it works well for me. Your exhaled bubbles float into your goggles/face rather than float past you in a normal swimming fashion, but I got used to that quickly.

This helped me exercise during quarantine
I haven't given this a 5 star review bc I feel the end piece could use some improvement. If it was not sewn together but had a buckle like the swimming belt, or even a velcro closure, it would be easier to use. Instead it is very limited in what you can do with it. My work around was to take another item (a tow rope in this case) and wrap it around nearby trees in my yard and then slip the end of the swing tether through that. Bc my rope was adjustable it really worked well and it would be an easy fix for this company to make to their product. Also, we don't have any holes for a gate or umbrella around our pool deck but if you had one then the end of this would slip right over it and work well. But the overall intent of the product is well done and very comfortable. I didn't know what to expect but it really worked well and made it possible for me to swim in place in my backyard swimming pool when the gyms and pools closed down due to coronavirus. I read one comment that said he needed a snorkel to use it but I did not find that to be the case. Maybe he really swam hard and created a whole lot of bubbles. I find that I can get a good work out in and still not need a snorkel but I do use googles and a nose plug as I would do when swimming laps at the Y. I think it does give a bit of an extra work out for your bottom half as someone also mentioned, not a lot but more than a regular lap swim in a pool, as you do have to work it a bit harder to maintain buoyancy. You don't sink bc of the belt but to keep yourself flat to do the strokes you are conscious that your bottom half needs some extra effort.I do front and back crawl and breaststroke when using this product to work as many muscles as possible.

Works well and you can extend it with any bungee cord...
I bought a simple D-ring that I attached to my lanai and an additional bungee cord with hooks from a hardware store to extend the reach. Worked like a charm. I get enough stretch from the combined original bungee and the added bungee that I can vary the intensity of my swimming (careful with your shoulder, don't overdo it!). The belt is comfortable and the entire setup is portable (well, except for the D-ring). No need for complicated poles installed to the ground of your pool. Mount your D-ring high enough on the lanai structure that the bungee won't be in the way of your feet. Enjoy! Here is the D-ring I bought:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EP29N6/Here is a bungee cord similar to what I have:https://smile.amazon.com/Choice-24-Piece-Premium-Assortment-Storage/dp/B074M2RZFY/

Amazing!
All I can really say is I love this product! I installed a pool this year and this product alone totally boosted the usefulness for me. I now swim for exercise and believe this unlocked a whole other method of staying fit for me. Love it!

OK
Easy to use, bungees slightly uneven in length making tether awkward.
