Review: Ps4 battlefield 4 - Great graphics very good single player and multiplayer mode
Review: Fantastic. One of the best BFs for years. - Fantastic. Plays very similar to BF4. Much better than BF1. All DLC being free is such a good decision. Gameplay is strong. Rewards team players. Time to kill (TTK) is faster than previous games which makes play faster and makes you play more tactically, using cover etc. and therefore no need for a hardcore mode. Few features still to come, but I like that it will be regularly added to, keeping it fresh. Ignore the bad reviews. It’s very immersive and it’s not a history program. It’s supposed to be fun, and it very much is.

Visuals: as always the frostbite implementation here looks stunning, especially for metal based material work and Battlefield destruction. Other areas like character models and distant detaila look abit backwards. Overall I found myself stopping every now and then to admire the visual effects of the devastation caused to the game world. Gunplay: great. Found a good balance between feeling like cheese and being over simulation to the point where it becomes stupid. Campaign: plain boring. Undeveloped, and just done to try and say it has a single player mode. It is half an effort, and just feels like an offline multilayer mode. I really think this is no fault of the developers at DICE, as I know they can do a very good job. Battlefield 3, and the Bad companies were pretty good - and the developers are talented. No developer deliberately makes a game terrible. Pressure from EA to focus on multilayer, becuase apparently nobody wants to play single player games... *cough* God of war at 11 million, spiderman at 13 million, Zelda BOTW at 15 million, uncharted 4 at 17 million, witcher 3 at 20 million, Horizon at 10 million..... *cough*. EA's excuse for the underperformance of Battlefield V was targeted at an over focus on campaign (face palm) which is a completely stupid notion. The reason why it failed is becuase you did not focus enough. Multilayer: The best War game out there. The crown from battlefield 1 has been taken by this game. Firestorm (Battle Royale): not that bad, can be fun, can be plain boring. Frustrates me when you are out into a match and there are some who live and breath firestorm know each and every good kill spot. It should be ability matched. For example I'm a decent gamer, but I don't stand a chance against someone who has sent the last hundred days studying the firestorm map. Team mode is equally frustrating as if you don't have a party then you are severely disadvantaged. This game has its moments, and overall is better than Battlefield 1 (is it??). Should you buy it?... Well if you like the all out war of battlefiled then go for it. if you are buying it becuase you want to tick all of the single player, multilayer and battle Royale boxes, then you can probably give it a miss. If you are buying it for single player... Then ask yourself if you have played Battlefield 4 and 1, if not, then the gameplay may be interesting to you. If you are familiar with games like this, then this will be boring. EDIT : After some serious reflection. This game turned out to be, after content updates, one of the, if not the best BF game. Just with a really forgettable campaign.
