Don't hesitate to buy Ticket to Ride.

Let me say this: The Ticket to Ride franchise is one of, if not "Thee", favorite set of games I have ever played. My kids and I play these games all the time. Each version/expansion brings a new twist to the game. Not all are created equal, and some are more fun than others. We have the U.S., Europe, and Rails ans Sails main games, 5 of the mini games, and 11 expansion games, with several of these being double-sided. That's a total of 25 different versions of this game, so far. I am constantly looking to get Germany, when it is on sale. Unfortunately, I have missed out on a couple of opportunities, as it seems to sell out quite quickly. The minigames can be played in 15-30 minutes. The longer games with be 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, but it won't seem like that. I try to buy these when on sale. Otherwise, it can become quite expensive to buy them all. You do need to begin with the US or Europe base games, as the trains and cards are used with many of the other games. This isn't an issue though, because both versions are a lot of fun. Oh, one last thing, you need a fairly good size table to play on. Some boards are quite large and require some space. Anyhow, if you are looking for a fun board game, I would highly recommend these.

Fun new dynamics

This is my favorite Ticket to Ride so far. I love the Iberia side as the festival cards let you pick up a lot of points if you’re paying attention to them. South Korea was definitely different, but I’m not going to spoil it. Both games have you draft and pass rather than straight dealing of train routes, which adds a different mechanic to the start and mid point of the game. I really, really like it, to the point I bought all the new train sets that were released so I don’t have to haul my base or European sets with me to play.

Fun and educational

Fun game. We also have the New York game so we used the taxis from our New York game. It helped the kids learn about places in South Korea before our trip to there. The New York game helped the kids learn about the different parts of the city. Fun and entertaining for the whole family. My kids are 10 year twins.

Both games have some pretty cool features

Both games have some pretty cool features - including a draft for selecting destinations. That makes it VERY interesting and challenging.

Travel the world by Rail!

Both of these games in one are fantastic! Each one has the basic components, but add flrai to challenge and make it so much fun! Do you use a train to Garner more points? Or place it on the board?
