I wear a Medium in almost everything. I also wear a medium in this per size chart. It fits but it's skin tight! I'd prefer a little looser hip area. If you're right between sizes I'd go bigger. It's also VERY short. Which on my 5'8" means it just covers my butt. No worries for me because I planned on leggings anyway. Comfortable and quality. Great buy!

size large would fit a size 2-4 woman. this item is way off on it's sizing.
