This rake-cleaning litter box is great - when used with clumping cat litter it scoops out all lumps, clumps and poops and stores them in a separate waste bin. Usually I would manually scoop the litter tray three times a day, but not having to scoop on a morning or when I come in from work has been a god send! My cats cute, but his gifts aren't and not having to face his demons at 6am on a morning is bliss.The tray is large, but not too large compared to my old litter tray and is very low maintenance.. typically I empty the waste bin about once a week as its really good at keeping those nasty smells sealed away!

I’ve had this for 2 months as the cleaning rail has stopped functioning. It keeps on getting stuck and no longer cleans as designed. Avoid and get a better quality product.

I have to say i was worried when the box came as it was huge then when i opened it i saw that the box was huge to contain the huge litter tray. You really do have to have the space for this litter tray as it takes up a lot of valuable floor space.I am going to assume that this litter tray is aimed at a multi cat household as i think it's too much just for one cat.The litter tray uses clumping litter but the tray in which to put the litter is very shallow, much shallower than an ordinary litter tray. We set up the litter tray and had it alongside the old tray to get the cats used to it, we even tipped water onto the litter to get it to clump and activated the cleaning cycle. The cats hated it, the high sides that they have to jump over to get in and the noise were just too much.I have a neighbour who has cats so i cleaned it out and gave it to her for a week to try and would you believe it her 3 cats used it from day one.I think the success of the litter tray will come down to the cat or cats that are using it but it's a lot of money wasted if the cats won't use it.

This is no good the rake keeps sticking this is the second one and it has started doing the same as the one before had nothing but bother with it .

Well worth the money, I have been thinking about getting one of these for a long time but always wondered if it was worth it, but I can assure you it is.With the automatic cleaning, I have started to save on Cat Litter as I use a lot less than I was using before, as the automated litter sends the filter through the Cat Litter when the sensor is triggered.This has been a god send while we've been on Holidays as I can now leave the Cat Litter to be changed/filtered automatically.I can then simply empty and refill on my arrival back home.The Pet Safe litter tray is very well made and feels robust enough to be well used for years before needing any sort of part replacement etc. it definitely feels built to last. I followed the Guide that came with the Litter tray to get my cats used to it in their environment and have them use this one, instead of their old one and it worked a treat, the cats are now well away with their new litter tray and love it as much as I do.Would 100% recommend getting one if your thinking about it.

Not very good, it is very noisy anddoesn't remove everything thoroughly. Every few days you have to manually clean the sand. Compared to a round capsule type litter box it is very poor. I have both, I bought these as the second one because I wanted the cats to have a choice between an open and closed litter box, now I would decide on two closed ones. To sum up, this litter box works but unsatisfactorily, it is very loud and the cleaning process takes quite a long time.

I was shocked at how large this is compared with the previous pet safe automatic crystal version. I didn't find it very aesthetically pleasing it looks cheap. It's much noisier than the last version and takes quite a long time to clear away the cat poo etc. I am glad I have sent it back and I'm hoping to get a refund but a lot of hassle. Not of the same quality of the previous automatic cat litter box.

This automatic litter box has made managing our cat's litter much easier. It effectively rakes through the clumping litter, removing waste and reducing odors. The fact that it works with our preferred litter is a plus. It's easy to set up and requires minimal maintenance—emptying the waste bin about once a week. Cleaning the components is straightforward. It's been helpful in keeping the litter area cleaner, especially in a multi-cat household. The only downside is that it's a bit large, but the convenience it offers makes up for it.
