Extremely functional. Assembly can be done mostly solo however, when it comes to sliding the rails into position I recommend having a second set of hands. I tweaked my back getting it in place on my own. I used it to fit a full set of wide wheels/tires along with miscellaneous garage equipment. Was extremely sturdy and was true to its weight capacity. Worth the money especially if you want ease of access and the ability to use a drill to lower and raise it as I did.

Works very well. Easy to install but need two sets of hands.

Up and down mechanism works well with a drill. Will not store what they display if cars are going to be stored below it. There is a significant list to one side and that is mentioned in the documentation. Bottom line is that it works but you have to know what you are doing if you are going to do your own install.

Overall, the adjustable racks are what we wanted. However, the wired cables were different lengths. We could not find any way to adjust the rack, so we had to buy additional hardware to leveled out the rack. There is at least 3-4” difference from one side to the other side.

Although this product did not work in my 70+ yr old garage, customer service was EXCELLENT!! They responded within hours of each text & supplied a pre-paid RedEc label for return. My money was completely refunded the moment my shipment was scanned at FedEx!!!!!

Super bad product. It has been installed for a week, I have had to use it no more than 3 times and it is already useless. The bar that is used to go down and up broke, the anchorage of the bar disassembled and now it is left in half without being able to go down or up.

This is a very high quality product but installation is best suited for an experienced DYI person. Your ceiling joists must be on 24 inch centers for this to work but that spacing is almost a universal standard in the US. Use of the provided template is a must and if you are attempting a one person install consider cutting the template in half and temporarily nailing it to the ceiling to make it easier to tape it into final position. Just be sure to carefully mark the template before cutting it so that you can accurately line up the two halves when putting them on the ceiling. The system raises and lowers smoothly with the provided hand crank but using an electric drill is much easier. Definitely recommend this product.

Glad I am the first one to review it. Tooke me 2.5 hours install it. And overall I am quite happy with it. Pros: 1. The materials are pretty solid. Unlike one I bought few years ago. The metal are thick and cable are sturdy. 2. Packaging is neat. Lots of little details you can tell it is a thoughtful product. And the installation template is helpful. 3. Easy to install. Took me 2.5hours. If you get someone to help should be quicker. Cons The manual could need some improvements.
