Absolute best EDC knife on the market
Super sharp out of the box. I lost my last one of this model, but it’s so good for edc because it’s thin and doesn’t get in the way even though it’s a decent sized pocket knife. I can’t imagine I’ll find something else that I’d enjoy more carrying every day. Well done benchmade

Great inexpensive beginner friendly knife
This is an amazing knife. It’s very lite weight, extremely durable and very sharp. Recommend this knife to anyone looking for a great knife for hunting, camping and hiking. Would also makes a great gift for that new EDC knife person. Such as a young man getting his first knife for the Boy Scouts or just hunting and fishing.

Light weight sacrifices strength
Good quality, but the price is for how light weight it is not how strong.In terms of a premium product I can’t justify the price for how flimsy the grips are. It’s likely just me and hands but the scales feel flimsy in my hand where I can feel it dip in the middle.You can buy aftermarket scales but they are a bit pricey and sacrifice weight unless you spend a good bit extra. And double the price for carbon scales isn’t worth it.In terms of edge retention it was good the blade doesn’t show any scratches since it’s a stone finish though I only had it for a day. The blade grind could be better it was done at a low grit but the overall size and angle is good. Opening is a bit stiff so you might want to tune it or lube it or both.It’s a handsome looking knife which is why I got it but I returned it as I prefer my civivi and the price to value I get but if you want light weight can’t beat the buyout, you would honestly forget it’s in your pocket!
