I was sceptical but really , this is an amazing mobile and for this price , its a steal. Very good spec for the price. Phone does not slow down, its very smooth and fast. It has specification and features that other phones are missing, like SD card slot, High internal memmory capacity (512GB !), 3.5mm headphones jack, NFC. You can add 512GB SD card for 40£ and you have 1TB of total memory. You can even extend ROM to 16GB using some of RAM. You do not compromise on this mobile. The best part is the screen. Why no other companies do not do this, is beyond me. They all chasing high frequency, brightness and resolution while most can't be even read in daylight. This screen is matt, there is no glare, no fingermarks, Is smooth as butter even in its standard settings. When switched to nextpaper mode..Oh boy , isn't it pretty and fantastic for eyes, All Black and White mode or paperlike colours mode where everything is in pleasing pastelle colours. And it works so well in reading or day to day usage. Build quality is perfect. The negative points would be: camera that is average . Pictures are pretty and good enough but resolution is not so good when enlarged. , even 108Mpixels do not change much. But its very good for average user. Its not photographer phone like PIxel or Iphone. Limited accesorie, I literally found 4 cases for it and they pretty low quality. No screen protector. You can buy it but it will not stick to the screen properly due to it's matt finnish.

Surprisingly good deal, the handset has a premium feel to it, good specs it certainly won't let you down performance-wise. That being said not a powerhouse but a worthy mid range contender, more than enough juice to handle the day to day tasks and activities flawlessly with a bit of multitasking.The camera gets the job done and well at that but hardly the selling point here. Battery life doesn't disappoint at least in my initial tests, it lasts a lot longer if you run the e-ink mode. Speaking of e-ink, the display is indeed the star of the show here, extremely versatile able to shift between 3 different modes with a simple toggle switch. Bought this one for my father as he's doing most of his reading online these days and this will be a lot easier on his eyes. In conclusion, I'd say it's an extremely good choice considering the good specs/512GB storage you already get value and the brilliant hybrid screen is just an extra at this price point. And if you got the preorder bundle with the free tablet you're laughing.

Great phone. fairly light, and compact. Really Good battery life. Screen is a pleasure to use. Love the fact it has a headphone jack and SD card slot. Performance is fine. Downsides - lack of APTX etc. support. IP rating on the weak side. Cameras OK, not good

Ok i bought this phone TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G because my other phone 4 years old battery not holding a charge for long about half a day. I got this phone for reason, i knew i would like it. It has a matt screen which is fantastic not just to look at but it has a lovely feel when touching the screen. No problem to open apps and nice and speedy no lagging. But i own 4 kindles and love to read and wanted a mobile that could offer me all the comforts of a phone and e-reader without by eye ball burning. By God i have found it, when you put phone to max ink mode you will be surprised how good this phone is as an e-reader, now make no mistake is not exactly like a kindle but its 90% there and in max ink mode you can put up a few app you want, i have kindle, X , and others all work. Have had the phone on now for 24 hours have over 100 hours charge left, I like very much get 3 day without having to charge your phone!!! Only thing is it cant go to dark mode on this max setting but it a pleasure to read on. I can only think how TLC will approve on this phone with the technology . If you want a phone with great battery, wonderful matt screen, and a fab e-reader on a mobile phone this is the one you want. I also bought a cover for the phone SEAHAI Leather Folio Case for TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G just wonderful very surprised how good it is. TCL have a new long term customer, Just Fab!! Picked it up 260 euros its a steel! Just Fab TCL.

Excellent phone, love the 3 modes , lovely Matt screen , feels good to touch , not like glossy oled screens ,512 GB storage and 16gb ram is exceptional. Cameras are good. The stylus is not included,one can be purchased on other online stores. Phone is light . I want TCL to get andoid 15 on this phone asap considering android 16 is coming out soon , this android 16 would be better than android 15. This phone has 2 SIM slots , 1 microSD card slot ( 2 TB max card size ) and esim option. Also I purchased the phone for £196 BRAND NEW here on Amazon UK ( TCL had some vouchers special offer last month . )

This phone was released in sept 2024, its been sitting on a shelf for a year. It will arrive with 0% battery charge. It will take 5 minutes to charge (slow charge recommended) to 'boot' to the android battery charge screen to show 0%. If you attempt to buy this phone any later than end of 2025 you will have potential battery damage, possibly dangerous. I bought my phone this month (oct 2025) and this 0% battery is what i got. Hopefully my phone will not have battery damage from being in this state (i have no idea how long its been sitting on a store shelf). I have warned you. Great phone, shame that it will arrive like this because its not popular, the turnover will mean you may get a release day stock. Ill update this should i believe mine has battery issues. Ill update to 5star if all is well, drop to 1star if it is f.ubar. Currently 3star to reflect the uncertainty. Phone battery seems to drain inline with same battery capacity of another phone, given review 5stars
