Good fun, different every time EK do it again
This is one of several Exploding Kittens new Catchables games sets that can be played independently or combined with other characters for bigger games and more players. This set includes two of the ‘Catchables’ - ‘Lumber Cat ‘ and ‘Donut Cat’ .There are 10 other characters available so far but you only need a minimum of 2 to play a game .Each Catchable has a unique set of 12 cards with actions to carry out as you throw your ‘Catchable’ ranging from simple to more complicated .Well designed ,the Catchables are soft and springy , a good shape and size for throwing and catching and a bit bouncy too.You need a bit of space and a level of physical ability in throwing and catching - the first to do 5 card actions wins.As ever , Exploding Kittens have thrown in (see what I did there ? ) plenty of twists and turns unexpected actions and winners abound.Great fun , all ages bring their own qualities and skills to the game. We are already starting to collect the other characters.Another fun game from Exploding Kittens

A few laughs and a bit of exercise
Catchables isn't the type of game that I'd play more than once on a games night. After completing it, we'd been through most of the cards and some were similar, three others were repeats. That said, there were some giggles. I was surprised to find myself doing better than I thought I would. Even so, some actions are really hard, just as they're meant to be, especially when combined. Just try spinning round on one foot and catching it, while remaining on that one foot. All the throwing and catching gave me a bit of a workout. For those with poor coordination, it is hard and I could see the defeat on the other player's face. It's a good idea to be considerate when playing. The instructions were tricky to pick up, but the video did help. When discarding as many cards as wanted, I wasn't sure whether we had to leave at least one, or what to do if we discarded all of them. We chose to go with the former. Finally, one of the cards says to bounce the ball off your hand. Well, it doesn't bounce and it turned into more of a double throw.

Nice Compact Game
This can either be a game on its own, or combined with other Catchable packs to add more players. This pack includes the doughnut and lumbercat catchables which are really well designed. They are lightweight and soft so low risk of causing any accidents when being thrown in the air. The game itself is pretty easy to learn and a lot of fun to be had. Works well as a 2 player game but we've played with more by using other packs and found it to be more fun!

Need a lot of space
We personally (adults) didn’t really enjoy this – although we do have other exploding kittens games which we do enjoy but they are games that can be played with a few players sitting around a table – this requires much more movement and interaction – but only having this expansion pack it did limit our fun a bit as you could only play with two players and we needed a lot of space (which we didn’t really have) as the higher you throw, the more time it gives you to complete the action and normal ceilings are just too low. We played once outside on holiday for the purpose of a review and were both absolutely rubbish at it – although some of the moves are easier than others - this would be a great game for more players so you’d need to buy the 4 pack and probably the 2 pack. I prefer more of a thinking game than a physical one.

An expansion to the 'Catchables' game
When I saw this expansion was available, I jumped at the opportunity to get it!We have played the 'Catchables' game quite a few times at our games nights, so the ability to expand on the already large action card decks was a no-brainer!The game is brilliant, but I would definitely recommend grabbing the 4-pack before getting the 2-pack as it builds a good base game before adding expansions. My only issue with this is the packaging. I feel like the packaging could be reduced a lot to avoid wasted materials. This doesn't affect my star rating as the game as a whole is brilliant!

Good fun at a discounted price
This nicely-packaged product is a simple kids game for two players. It is very easy to learn and is basically a complicated version of jacks, except you perform actions based on the card you pick up, rather than picking up tokens. The characters are well designed and wellmade, and the two in this set are particularly nice. Other models are of course available (two per pack), that’s how the company is going to make money with this game. For £7.50 this is actually not a bad purchase, and you will certainly get many games out of it before you get bored. You can’t get much for that money these days, especially from a popular brand like Exploding Kittens.Good fun at a great price, so this gets five stars.

Silly fun
You get a box with two squishy cat toys and some cards to play the accompanying game. The game involves you throwing the cat in the air and doing the actions on the cards before catching the cat. You need a cat for each player so if you want to play with more than 2 people you need to buy more packs; there are several different designs available. It is a silly fun game which gave our family lots of laughs. However, it was a bit tricky and frustrating for the younger, less coordinated children. It's probably best for a group of teenagersI like the humourous designs of the cat toys and the artwork on the cards. I think the donut cat is probably my family's favourite option of all the catchables available.
