I'm very happy with this phone! It's easy to use, the graphics are great, and even with a slightly lower resolution, the screen is crisp and clear. The phone is lightweight, and the battery life is impressive—it holds a charge twice as long as my Samsung's ever did. After using Samsung phones for 20 years, I decided to try something different since they were getting too expensive. So far, so good! The UMIDIGI G9 5G has plenty of features, and while it’s missing a few, I’m really enjoying it.Update: 5-1-2025. Charger-port failing, loosening. It took a month and a half to fail. My phones last 3 years, the port is faulty - Big time.It connected instantly with my MetroPCS SIM with no issues. As expected, I had to update the EIM in my MetroPCS account, but that’s standard. The only minor hiccup was adding my Google account—Google made it a bit of a hassle at first, but after a few hours, everything sorted itself out. My apps, call history, and messages started repopulating on their own, which was a nice surprise.Overall, the phone works great! Apps open quickly with no lag, and the built-in ringtones and notification sounds are pleasant. It’s definitely different from my Samsung, but for the price, I’m very happy with it.Update: 5-1-2025. The charger port is faulty, failing in about 45 days. No bueno

I had been looking for a cost effective solution for my desire to move to 5G and also achieve high performance standards. I have previously own Umidigi cellphones and they have been exception devices. In fact they all still function perfectly, but as technology marches forward new devices are needed.That written I thought I should share my experiences with the Umidigi Note 100 5g. Setting the phone up took just minutes. Remember when it took hours to set up a phone. Not now, wow it was easy Connectivity is solid with no drops or deficiencies detected. Download 5G speeds are excellent and the handoffs to LTE are completely transparent. The camera is amazing, particularly the "on phone" editing. The tools are very effective in perfecting a picture, bringing it to the next level. Ditto for the video functionality. There are lots of video features and they work vey well. I have noticed that many people use their speaker phones and I am a member of that club. This feature is very refined, with no distortions or echoes and plenty of clear volume. The security systems work well with side button fingerprint reader and the facial recognition functioning flawlessly. Battery life stands out as one of the best phones I have owned. The phone charges very quickly with the two stage charger. I have used my phone on two different networks. T-Mobile and Mint. T-Mobile sent me a text saying they could not guarantee compatibility. I can write with confidence that there was not problem with compatibility on the T-Mobile network. Mint immediately approved the phone for their network and it has operating perfectly.I highly recommend the Umidigi Note 100 5G. This is an amazing phone at any price, but a really great value on Amazon.

I was pleased that the product was delivered on time and in good condition.Overall, I am satisfied with the product, especially considering its affordable price. I have found the following aspects to be particularly positive:* T-Mobile network compatibility* Lightweight and thin design* Good battery life* Apple-like application grouping* Good rear camera qualityHowever, I have encountered two issues that I would like to bring to your attention:* The WiFi connection defaults to 2.5 MHz instead of 5.0 MHz, requiring manual adjustment.* The device does not have NFC capability.Despite these minor issues, I believe that I have received a good product for the price.

Picked this one up about a week or so ago as a cool looking budget phone to use as a backup to my aging Mate 20 X from 2019. Wanted something that would be worthwhile, but with a budget of under two hundred dollars in mind. I liked the look of the G9 when I ran across it and the deciding factor was not only the price, but that it had an addition coupon as well. Have to love Umidigi. After using this past week, I've been very happy with it. It's processor is snappy enough for texting, web browsing and even most gaming. The call quality is as good as can be expected at this price point. It's interesting that the back of the phone looks textured, but is smooth to the touch. The camera has been competent as well. I love the Umidigi still provides everything I need to use the phone in the box, ie. charger, charging cable, even a case. There are a couple of negatives for me. Don't care for the flat sides of the phone in the iPhone style. Also, the charging could be quicker. Given the great price point, these small items are easy for me to overlooked. Highly recommended!
