Timex Women's Weekender 38mm Watch

I had to sit for the bar exam, and they have draconian policies about electronics. Thus, I just needed an analog watch. This is exactly what I needed: basic, comfortable, has a second hand, and easy to read.The glow behind the numbers is very bright, and the face of the watch is much larger than the average woman's watch. The cloth band is great, it's super comfortable and doesn't slip at all, unlike leather bands. The numbers and tick marks around the edges of the watch face are very clear and in a simple font. The watch face itself is just black numbers, a red second hand, silver accents, and a bright white background. I really like the simplicity because it's super hard to find watches for women that aren't encrusted with rhinestones and fancy flourishes. I think all the parts are metal and glass; there's no plastic, even the bands to secure the ends of the strap are metal. I wish smartwatches looked this sharp.Two things to note is that the clock noticeably ticks. I find the sound soothing, but some people might hate it. Also, the band is pretty small. I really appreciate it because I have tiny baby hands and wrists, but this is definitely not a watch for you if you have thicker-than-average wrists. The holes in the band go all the way to the face, so this would probably fit other people with really tiny wrists or children.For this price, this watch is a steal. It honestly looks way nicer than the $22 I paid for it.UPDATE 12/6/2019:I brought this watch with me all the way to the jungles, beaches, and intense humidity of Belize. My fitbit decided it was done with that noise about two days in, but this was fine. I accidentally jumped in the ocean with it no less than three times and wore it all day kayaking. It kept on trucking. This watch is absolutely perfect for travel! I loved that I don't have to charge it or sync it or fiddle with it too much to get it to change time zones, I just have to adjust it manually. Look, sometimes old fashioned is better. When you're on the go and need a no-nonsense watch, you'll be much happier with this than some $600 smart watch.

Bought this for my nurse wife to replace a very small face watch I previously bought here. She likes the bigger face of this watch since it makes it easier to see the marks and she can tell the time quickly. The face of the watch is very legible. It's lightweight on the wrist and she says she barely notices it on her wrist. We immediately replaced the canvas strap with a silicone one due to the frequency of hand washing and the risk of something sticking to the fabric. The canvas band seems well made and is comfortable on the wrist. It is reversible to a solid blue color if you don't want the white dots. It is a NATO band so it is very easy to swap the band around.The Indiglo feature nicely lights up the face of the watch and makes it really easy to read in the dark. Overall, a very nice basic watch.

So far so good. I needed a watch for school that had a second hand, and I came across this one. I was hesitant at first because I read some reviews that said how easy it fell apart. I work with animals so it's been pretty durable, though I've only had it for about a week. It is easy to set, and pretty lightweight, which I love, because I'm not at all a watch person. I have pretty big wrists, compared to most people, and it did fit, with about 2 notches to spare. All in all, I'm satisfied with the product, if things change, I'll update this.

I originally ordered the pink and rose gold fabric band, but that band was so scratchy. The seams and holes had thick plastic edges. So I returned that and ordered the metallic blush / rose gold. Well, its sorta rose gold but not really? It looks more gold, but it could be picking up the band. Also, the band is not blush. Not even close. It's a glitter gold. Glitter shimmer all thru out. I never would have picked that in person, but it's not scratchy. Not as deacribed online, unless they meant glitter instead of metallic? Not sure if I'll keep it. I really really wanted rose gold and a neutral band.

I just received this watch today, so I will have to update on durability down the road. I had a very hard time finding a very basic watch like this one. I immediately liked everything about it except for the band. I bought it knowing I was replacing the band. I submitted a picture so you could see the size of the face. This Timex Weekender style comes in a few different face sizes.This is the middle size, 38mm. My wrist measures exact 6 in. around at the bone for reference. I replaced the band with a cool magnet chain-mail one sold by fullmosa here on Amazon. The movement on this watch is quartz, so it does tic softly. The ticking does not bother me, but it would probably drive my hubby crazy if it were his watch, so it is worth mentioning.

Love this watch for many reasons. One: easy to read the numbers. Two: easy to see the red colored second hand. Three: military time is a no brainer cause it's on it. Four: LOVE the little glow light to see the time in the dark. Perfect for night shift nurses, movie theaters, etc. The band's ok. A hospital nurse would need to change that band out for a waterproof one. Good advice from a retired hospital nurse!

This is a great watch. Large face. I think I’ll have to change the band out quicker than I had hoped but I still think for the price it is great. Also, the pin snapped out randomly the second day I wore it while doing chores but it was easy to put back in since the pin was easy to find (thankfully). Still like it a lot for the features.

I really like this watch! The canvas strap/band (I think they call it something other than canvas, but it's canvas) doesn't slide around on my wrist like leather ones do, plus I like this is different than a solid color. And of course the face is easy to read and lights up with a push of the "button". I am looking now for more bands to buy to switch it up sometimes.

Bright and cheerful. Easy to read and has the all important indiglo feature for nighttime checking of the time. Strap gets grubby but is easily removed and washed in soapy water.

I love this watch, very easy to read, love the size. The strap is very nice although doesn't seem very strong, I don't think it will last long. That's why one star less.

Por la correa dice que es de mujer a pesar de que el tamaño es muy grande hasta para algunos hombres que tienen la muñeca pequeña.La correa se la di a mi esposa para uno de sus relojes. La correa con la que viene es muy gruesa para ser de mujer, normalmente las correas de mujer son máximo 18mm, y ésta es de 20mm.Por el precio que pagué 500+ esta excelente, solo le cambié las correas y listo, se cambio totalmente y ya lo puedo usar sin problema.Haga lo mismo, se van a ahorrar bastante dinero sobre todo porque es el mismo reloj, la maquina es la misma, solo cambia el diseño de la caratula y la correa, y ya por eso cambia el precio muchas veces hasta 3 veces más.
