Most people laugh when I tell them that a good solid tactical flashlight is THE BEST self defense tool available, next to a handgun - better than a kubotan, better than a stun gun, pepper spray, a knife or any of those stupid gimmicky keychains or monkey paws. But I could list 10 or more reasons why I will die on this hill. This flashlight is EVERYTHING I was looking for when choosing one for my wife. The prongs are well defined and very sharp and tactile. The all metal housing and construction of the light feels solid, durable and robust yet lightweight (but not FLIMSY lightweight... it's in that Goldilocks zone). The finish seems to be very durable and scratch resistant as well; however, time will tell. Operation is easy and user friendly, even with the various modes and dual switch design (tail switch is on/off, while the side button cycles modes). The USB charging means no expensive batteries to replace and the light can be recharged after every use, meaning a full charge every time. The compact size of roughly 6 inches is the perfect combination of "long enough" yet still able to fit in a pocket, purse, glove box or travel bag. The handle has a knurled section that gives a decent texture for retention and feels pronounced but not uncomfortable. The multiple brightness levels is fantastic. "Firefly mode", being .5 lumens is much less than a cigarette lighter - maybe you dropped your keys in a movie theater and don't want to make a distraction. Low, medium, and high modes offer a nice selection of options, and "turbo" is just insanity, as is the strobe. I was almost instantly seeing spots, and the strobe mode made my eyes go crazy and couldn't readjust for a solid 90 seconds after looking down the business end - perfect for gaining the upper hand in a defensive situation. An LED charging indicator on the side is a nice touch, and will also display remaining battery life by color, which is a nice touch many tactical lights lack. Additional accessories were also included in the box. A black nylon belt pouch (the only thing that seemed a bit cheap imo, but I've never liked these.... If it's not leather or kydex they tend to feel flimsy if you're someone who uses and abuses their tools daily ) a charging cable, additional O-rings, manual, removable metal pocket clip (with excellent retention) and a surprisingly nice wrist lanyard were all nice additions. As someone always looking for a great deal on tactical equipment, I've seen and tried a lot of various products -some good, some bad, but even most of the good ones didn't "check every box" for me. This one is by far the best I've seen on the market at this price point, hands down. To be honest, I'm jealous I got this for her and not myself. Guess I'll be ordering a couple more, heck, maybe several - car, camper, EDC, toolbox.... This is a FANTASTIC light, and a tremendous value at this price point. Quality solid construction, super bright, and seems very versatile for both self defense and daily tasks.

I really like the straightforward interface, it's extremely bright, very aggressive removable strike bezel. I also like the size for edc carry, cool white light beam, and the ability to charge on the go through the type c charging port! I got mine on sale for $29.99 & couldn't be more pleased extremely good value for the money! It makes a extremely vicious up close and personal impact weapon with the extremely aggressive strike bezel installed. I like the option of removing the strike bezel by simply unscrewing it from the flashlight head! Good solid pocket clip along with a protective holster that gives you more than 1 carry mode! I saw the price had gone up to $49.99 rather than the $29.99 I purchased mine for. In my opinion it is well worth the higher cost for the build quality and versatility of the light!! Awesome edc tactical light!!! Can't speak for the longevity of the device just yet but I bought my 1st Thrunite flashlight over 10 years ago and it is still going strong. I don't expect anything less from this model!!

I have literally 7 different high value tactical flashlights. Most are very good. 2 are OK. THIS light is one of the smallest and throws a spotlight & floodlight at same time, but throws it over 850 meters. Says 2000 lumens but throws a brighter and further light than many of my lights they say 10,000 lumens, 4000 lumens, etc. Has a (quickly removable) sharp lethal bezel for rapid facial attack for self defense too. I can only imagine that is why Jack Richland allowed his brand to be imprinted on the light. He only backs the best. This light and my OLight Seeker 4 are my 2 go to lights now for hunting and Urbex filming at night.

Very high quality! So pleased with it that I came back on and bought one for a friend. Makes a great gift, will probably buy it another one soon!

Very bright light with a great throw for its size. It has a long lasting rechargeable battery and I love that it's usbc and the strike bezel is great. Great job, Thrunite and BSS.

Lightweight but very sturdy. I love that it's rechargeable and has several levels of brightness along with the strobe setting. Level 1 brightness is so dim, one could easily think the flashlight is off. Level 3 to 5 brightness, the light gets quite hot to the touch in about a minute. I probably wouldn't use those levels for more than a few minutes. Packs alot of power for such a small size.

I’ve had one of the most expensive manufacturers there is. Sure fire. Their flashlights go for hundreds of dollars. I think this rivals their quality. It has more features. And very nicely constructed. Highly recommended..

I've had a lot of flashlights in my 72 years on the planet and this one by far is absolutely the best it is unbelievable how great this works easy how bright it's a real great flashlight I would recommend it to anyone for any reason
