K&N Engine Air Filter: Long Life 18,000 Mile Replacement Air Filter: Compatible with 2002-2026 Dodge Ram Truck V6/V8/V10 (1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500), KNA-2247

I installed the K&N Advantage engine air filter, part number KNA-2247, as a replacement filter for my Dodge Ram. Fitment was right on—the filter seated properly in the factory air box, the gasket lined up well, and the air-box cover closed without having to force anything. Installation was a simple maintenance job that only took a few minutes. The filter has a sturdy frame and dense, evenly made filter media. It feels like a noticeable step up from the cheapest no-name replacement filters, while still being a normal disposable dry filter rather than an oiled, reusable performance filter. That is a plus for me because there is no cleaning kit, re-oiling, or concern about over-oiling a filter. The advertised 18,000-mile service interval is convenient for normal highway use, although I would inspect it sooner if the truck sees gravel roads, construction areas, farm roads, or other dusty conditions. I did not buy it expecting a major horsepower gain, but the truck had normal throttle response after installation and it is reassuring to have a fresh, properly fitting filter protecting the intake. Before ordering, make sure to use Amazon’s vehicle-fitment tool or confirm the KNA-2247 part number for your exact year, engine, and Ram model. Overall, this is a good-quality direct replacement air filter for routine maintenance—easy to install, good fit, and a reasonable option if you want longer service life than a basic 12,000-mile filter.

I picked up this K&N Engine Air Filter for my 2024 Ram 1500, and it’s a high-quality piece of tech for the price. The Value for money is excellent here because, unlike the others, K&N is a brand i have always trusted. The Quality is typical K&N. It's rugged construction with premium filter media that feels much more durable than the flimsy OEM paper version. The Size is a 1:1 match for the factory filter, ensuring a tight seal so no unfiltered air bypasses the element I’ve noticed a slightly smoother throttle response, which is great when towing the Rockwood Ultra Lite. The Ease of use for installation is a 5-minute job. Plus, the 18,000-mile service interval means I don't even have to think about it for a long time. It’s a great, low-maintenance upgrade for any truck owner. Even handles the New Mexico and Texas dirt in the air like a champ.

After swapping out my stock air filter with this K&N I did notice my truck has better throttle response and acceleration. Also I can hear more air getting into the engine. For the price point you can’t beat getting those results! This is a 5+ product!

I bought this for my 2011 Ram 1500 4WD Hemi. It fit perfectly and is an 18 month replacement (depending on conditions). It was a much better price than what I had been getting from a NAPA store , which was only a 12 month one! I would recommend this filter brand.

Decent price airflow highly recommended
