Around The World In Eighty Days [1956] [DVD]

Enjoying the movie at this time. A classic.

Seriously - I bought this movie for my 95 y/o dad from a seller out of Vegas...why would I suspect this would’t play in the U.S.!! Yes, I see now it’s in the fine print, but that fact should be stated in the description and made clear. Shame on you - you’ve clearly duped many others in this front as well.The movie is awesome, which is why I got it for Dad :( too bad he won’t be seeing it anytime soon.

I was 6 years old when this move came out. I wanted to See it again and any time I wanted to. Having a Region 2 DVD was an inconvenience but it gave me a opportunity to test what devices I had that would play a region 2 DVD.

It is not the right disc, my machine can not read it. I have a blu-ray machine. I would like to send this movie back and exchange for a blue -ray movie (the same movie).

This version is truer to the original Jules Verne novel than the recent Disney remake. The two disc set contains the entire movie in high quality sound and video. Cantinflas steals the show with his comic antics, while David Niven exemplifies the stereotypical unemotional English gentleman.

I was planning a "film festival of old classics and thought I ordered this DVD in plenty of time only to find that the day we gathered this one out of the 5 we were going to watch was the only one that said "CHECK REGION" This is for REGION 2. I thought I read Amazon tried to sell only DVD's for REGION 1 . There should be a BIG RED BANNER over the DVD's that are not able to be viewed in the US

It’s a wonderful classic movie. Unfortunately I had to return it unopened because it would play in my DVD player because of the region code.

A truly wonderful movie which shows us in 2019 how time has always mattered....awesome scenery, fantastic color photography....and of course superb acting.

I saw that movie in 1956 and alway considered ,it was one of the best in all time!I am glad I have a copy of DvD by my side.

La entrega fue perfecta y la película es maravillosa. Un gran recuerdo de Cantinflas, David Niven, Shirley MacLaine, los otros maravillosos actores, la música, las imágenes y por supuesto, Julio Verne, aunque el guión se tome ciertas libertades, como es lógico en una superproduccin de estas características.
