American Flyer Luggage Fleur De Lis 4 Piece Set, Red, One Size

Took this set on a cruise and held up beautifully. The cosmetic bag is the reason I bought this set. It held all my shaving and facial products perfectly!

Everything arrived pretty quickly, which was great since I need them in a couple of weeks. I did not notice a bad smell from these as I saw in many other reviews - they smell kind of plastic-y but they are new, so I would expect that from them. The two suitcase bags are fine, no defects or issues. The quality of the lining could be better, but with the prices of other luggage sets out there I was sort of expecting this anyways. The cosmetics bag is smaller than I would have thought, but overall no complaints about it. My one dissappointment is that the "doctors bag" has obvious manufacturers defects on it. There were several strings hanging out from the seams which I clipped off, and there was some of the material used for the inside lining actually stitched to the outside of the bag near the zipper at the end. I was able to just snip it off, and at this point you could never tell that it was there to begin with at all! So, overall I do like the set - just know that it is made in China and is not the most expensive/nicest set - but it does look nice and hopefully will hold up fine for my trip.

Like: we will be using these for a cruise and for international travel. I like the colors and design because my eyes can spot them easily on the carousel.There are no dislikes yet but the materials seems firm. Our travel dates are coming up so I will post an update later.

I was on here looking for luggage, but in the process looked back in my orders and realized I bought this set 10 years ago. It’s been all over with us and it’s still in great, working shape with no issues at all. I was only looking for something a little more modern for my daughters up coming trip. These are definitely worth the price though. All 4 pieces are great and I only want something new out of pure vanity. So, I’ve changed my mind now. These are perfectly fine.

Sadly, the luggage i bought for a business trip didn't hold up very well. The wheel cover broke while wheeling from car to curbside check-in. First time I used it!! Very disappointed!!

I'm madly in love with this luggage set. I so badly wanted to look and feel like an organized and classy traveler. This set has delivered. The carry on is perfect and feels strong. The toiletries case is perfect and fits so much. The duffel style bag is also very nice for day travel. And there's the larger case for big trips I never take but I'll be so chic when I do.

I like everything about my 4-piece Fleur-De-Lis American Flyer Luggage except for the “Roomy Doctor’s Bag 19” X 8” X 19”). The right side of the zipper snaps into place; however, the left side of the zipper doesn’t. The hole for the snap is too large. Can only the Doctor’s Bag be replaced? Thank you, Susan

This luggage is just as beautiful in person as it is in these photos. It doesn't seem like it will snag easily, as the other reviewer said. I haven't traveled with it yet, so I can't say for sure, but it seems fairly sturdy.Update: I originally reviewed this in Sept 2010. I'm still using this luggage set in 2020. It still looks good and works fairly well - the wheels don't turn super well anymore, and the handles are sometimes hard to pull up or push back in. But overall it has been great and I highly recommend it.

My makeup bag (the round piece) ️came ripped and the zipper is almost impossible to zip up do to the tears around the top of the top. Very disappointed
