The media could not be loaded. My front doors have always left me a little uncomfortable with safety but with this little bit extra protection I feel so much more secure. Super easy to unlock when I need to open the door and I love that you can hardly notice it when it’s on. Definitely worth the money.

This french door lock is simple in design but very effective. It fits snugly around the handles on our french doors and even has multiple holes for an adjustable design. In the holes, a pin is places and that is what secures the device and keeps the doors from being opened. The lock is made of metal and is very sturdy/durable. It will not break. The pin is also metal and has a detent so that it doesn't fall out easily. The only drawback to this product/design is that the pin isn't attached to the lock in any way. I think this product could be improved by adding a small lightweight chain to the pin and the lock so that the pin doesn't get lost. Unfortunately for us, the pin tends to go missing and then the lock is no good until the pin is found and that is a bit of a frustration. Other than that, the lock has been effective and has done its job.

This is a solid, heavy piece of metal that works as extra locking defense whenever I leave the home for vacations. It's honestly gives me a peace of mind knowing that I have this setup on the knobs. It's so unbelievably easy to use. You remove the key latch, slide the bar into the two door knobs and place the key back into its slot to lock the mechanism. I recommend this for anyone needing a simple burglary solution to their double doors. Great stuff here!

I had been searching for something like this for years to add some sort of security to my outswing french doors - the only other options until now were cheap plastic baby latches that served no real useful purpose for safety. Very heavy duty metal locking plate that is quick and easy to install and remove as needed. It will not keep a burglar out long since it it dependent entirely on the strength of the knobs - and lets be honest the knobs are the weak point on french doors - but it will easily add some more of a delay before they can get in. Visually it looks menacing so they may even give up before they try anything which is sort of the point. Adds some peace of mind so it is a worthy investment.

I got this because my front doors are french doors, which feel harder to secure than just a singular door. This security device is easy to install and feels very sturdy. It helps me feel safer when I'm alone.

This is an extremely heavy reinforcement lock for french doors. There is nothing plastic on this one - it means business. The lock slides easily inbetween two handles, and has several holes for the pin based on the distance between them. Nice product! Works well!!!

I'm giving a mixed review on this product. I love it because it prevents my two crazy dogs from running from the dining room to the den, and back, barking at everything that moves in the front yard. When it arrived, I immediately put it in place and was very pleased. And it definitely kept the French doors from opening. I didn't need to screw in the locking pin: I just dropped it in place. I loved it! However, my wife decided it looked like we were operating a prison. I thought that was pretty funny, but she was serious. So, I guess we're back to using bungee cords, which I think look far worse. I was using this product on interior French doors (and maybe I was misusing them!) because they are made of metal and are VERY substantial (hence, the prison look). No question, though, these would work quite well on exterior doors and the more I think about it, I guess that's where they belong. Oh well. Maybe they deserve a 5 rating.
