Works Great
I recently returned home after being out of town for three months and find out that my car battery completely dead. Thankfully, I had this jump starter, and it worked like a charm! Within minutes, my car was up and running again is easy to use, compact, and powerful. This jump starter is a must-have!

Works fine, hookup sequence is strange
I have another battery charger, but I have been in the situation where the other charger won't start charging a battery because the voltage is too low. I've worked around this in the past by using a low current trickle charger to get the battery up to a level where my regular charger will take over. I got this charger in the hopes that it will eliminate that two-step process. I have a vehicle that is mostly idle, and there's some unidentified drain on the battery, so if I forget to start it up every couple of weeks the battery eventually dies. Well, it was "dead" when I ordered this, and it seemed like a good time to test my theory. Except that the battery wasn't *that* dead... Turns out my normal charger would have worked (this time) but I used this charger just to try it out.Now the odd thing with this charger is that the instructions insist that you should connect to the battery terminals before plugging the charger in. I'm not a big fan of that sequence of operations, and there's a nice spark when plugging the thing in under load. Perhaps an internal relay or even a switch would have been a better idea?Once fired up, setup is easy, and it starts to charging. The charge was much slower than I am used to (I'm really not even sure how long it took - more than four hours - after which I went to bed. The battery was well charged in the morning). This charger has an ambient temperature sensor, and it accurately determined that it was, indeed, over 100*F. It adjusts charging according to temperature, so the slowness is likely from that adjustment. This charger has a trickle charge / maintainer mode, so I am fairly confident that it will do everything I need if (when) I let my battery discharge below where my other charger will work. In the meantime, I'll probably prefer this to my other charger simply because it adjusts it's charging to do what's best for the battery based on temperature.

A charger works for both LifePO4 and Lead Acid batteries
This product is kind of a "universal" battery charger and works with the two major types of battery - (Sealed) Lead Acid and LifePO4, at 2 different voltages of 12V and 24V.I like its "universal", 2 different voltages and a BIG display to know that status of charging and/or the current/voltage working on, also there is a cooling fan built-in.However, charging speed(current) is fair, 15A for 12V, but in fact, it appears the number is slightly off - the current I measured is only 14A. Voltage is also slightly off, about 0.1V off. There is ONLY ONE button on the display, called "mode" to cycle to different types of battery - it is not easy to press, not a great design with this type of "button" on the display, please give me a hardware "push button".Display is not very intuitive, the charging voltage/current is preset and fixed for different types of battery, I hope there is a final one that you can custom the voltage and/or the current, then it will be perfect. The 9-stage charging is more like a marketing gimmick than an actual useful feature, and it doesn't work with Lifepo4 as well, limited usage. It comes with a 2-feet, fixed, alligator clips, hope it is some kind of connector, XT60, SAE, or whatever so that you can swap out the connection for different purposes. In conclusion, it is like a basic entry battery charger/maintainer, it's not a fast-charger, only 15A max at 12V. It "tries" to be universal to compatible Lifepo4 and Lead Acid type, but that's it, you can't custom or adjust the voltage/current in large or slightly. The display is good, but numbers for voltage/current is slightly off, so, not a perfect, but it's a working basic one.

Nice little charger
Compared to my old single function metal box type charger this one is so much better offering the different options and being able to handle lithium batteries as well. Compact and light weight it's easy to set up and use. The cable to the battery is only about two feet long so it does have to be positioned close to it. The display is large and clear except for the little icons across the bottom indicating the option that's chosen. Considering that's a very important setting they should be much larger though.Tested with a regular car battery, a deep discharge one and a lawn tractor one it handled them with no issues. Don't have a lithium one to test but that will change now that I have a charger that can handle them. When charging the display will say "FUL" when complete and will eventually display "OFF" if the battery is left connected. It must manually be switched to trickle charge option if that's what is wanted. The voltage displayed appear accurate as they agree with my multimeter readings. There is a warning in the manual that it's "not suggested" to charge a battery while still connected in the car as the desulphation phase may have "potential damage" to the car electronics. It looks like using it as a booster is a use at own risk proposition (though it's not really designed for that). An all around nice little charger.

Fast and versatile charger, noisy fan when charging
I have an older Noco Genius 3500 for sometime, used mostly to top up our second car's battery once in awhile since it is only driven occasionally. These days, with all the electronics drawing current in the car even when it is not running, I top up our primary car's battery almost every week, as per recommendation from the dealer. The Nexpeak NC215 is a significant upgrade to the older Noco in terms of function. My review is based on my experience with the Noco and a comparison of the two.The Nexpeak is made of hard plastic. Although it appears to be well built, it does not have the same rugged feel as the Noco. The clamps have a strong grip, but do not have the alligator teeth. There is a large bright and colourful informative LCD display. Charging voltage and current are digitally displayed. There is a single touch spot on the screen for mode selection. The charger can be used to charge 12V and 24V lead acid and lithium iron phosphate batteries but cannot be used to charge 6V motorcycle batteries.Using the charger is simple and straightforward. The charger is to be connected to the battery first before being plugged into a power socket. Once it is connected to the battery, it identified the type of battery it is, and shows the battery voltage and ambient temperature (used to adjust charging current for optimal charging.) The percentage power left in the battery is displayed in a 4-bar battery symbol. The charger defaults to regular automatic charging mode but this can be switched to trickle charging or repair charging. The charger automatically starts charging when it is plugged in. The manufacturer boast about a 9 stage charging but my impression is this is what the Novo charger does without specifying it. The only exception is the initial desulphation stage. Regardless of the health of the battery, the charger seems to start all charging process with a desulphation stage lasting a few minutes. The LCD display shows dFS during this stage of charging and nothing else. With a voltmeter, I noticed that it is a process of cyclic pulse charging starting at 13V gradually going up to 14.5 V. Hypothetically, this process can prolong the life of the battery but I am unable to verify it.Regular charging starts after that with the maximum voltage reaching 15V and maximum current reaching 11 A on our hybrid SUV battery. Once the charge in the battery reaches 75%, the charging current is gradually reduced to 6-7 A until fully charged. The charger then enters into intermittent trickle charging mode. After about 15 minutes of charging, the LCD goes off with only the mode selection spot staying lit.During the charging process, an electric fan is on constantly from the start. The exhaust air is a little warm but the unit is cool. The fan is noticeably loud although not intrusive since the unit is next to the car is in the garage. The Noco charger does not have a fan and the unit feels only mildly warm while charging.I am not sure if the built in fan in the Nexpeak charger represents a good safety design or is needed because the internal electronic components are not of optimal rating for the high current. A mechanical fan is an additional failure prone component! The Noco charger does not have and does not seem to need a ventilation fan.I left the Nexpeak charger connected to the battery for 2 days with no problem. I had kept the old Noco charger connected to our car's battery for a whole month while we were away and battery was maintained in tip-top shape when we came home. I will try the Nexpeak charger in our next long trip. Will report here if there is any problem. All in all, this is a good versatile and easy to use automatic charger with a very budget friendly price compared to the Noco.

You always want one of these in your car
I recently acquired the 15-amp battery jump starter for my car. While I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet, I wanted to share my initial impressions and thoughts.First off, the idea of having a jump starter on hand is reassuring. It’s one of those products you hope you’ll never need, but it’s invaluable to have just in case. The 15-amp capacity seems robust enough for most needs, and it's designed to handle typical jump-starting tasks effectively. The build quality of the unit appears solid, and it comes with features that suggest reliability when you do need it. The design is user-friendly, and it includes clear instructions on how to use it, which is always a plus.Overall, while I can’t speak to its performance in action just yet, I’m confident that having this jump starter in my vehicle is a wise precaution. It’s a product that offers peace of mind, knowing that you’re prepared for those unexpected moments when your car battery might let you down.

Great emergency booster
This is a great little booster pack, my wife’s car seems to have a dead battery in the mornings randomly. We are unsure what the causes, but we have been having to boost it more often a new battery is likely in order or alternator, but for now as a Measure, this little booster has been able to get the car started and her on the way multiple times this week. You have to make sure you keep it charged up though as they don’t recommend trying to start the car when the booster pack is under 75%.It’s also got several USB ports. You can use to plug-in various devices if you need a quick charge as well, which is very handy in an emergency situation. It was able to charge all the way to 100 from about 60 when it arrived in about 30 minutes.I think it’s a decent booster for a great price and I would recommend it to anybody looking for something in the case of an emergency.
