Good Product

It's a pretty decent oil. Good fragrance. Gives good sheen to the facial hair. The growth of one's body hair is completely hereditary and depends on specific hormones, so if your buying this thinking it'll help you grow a thicker beard, your probably wrong because that's a myth and it is used by most brands as it's a USP. Apart from that, the product is good for daily use. Keeps the facial hair organised for a while if left untouched.Cons: Wears off in 6-7 hrs, without washing the face.By the end of the day, beard felt rough and hard to comb.

I have patchy beard and it’s very rough. This natural beard oil conditions my beard hair and makes them softer. The fragrance is mild and pleasant. I love how my beard looks nice and shiny after using it, and it becomes easy to style too. Overtime, my beard growth has also improved. I recommend it to all my fellow beard lovers

First time I was using the product. It is better than other products. No side effects, good smell.

The product is really good. Make no mistake about it. The packaging is what is a disappointment. The filler cap and the rubber pinch are of such utter poor quality. The oil always leaks! The bottle has to always be kept upright. Not travel friendly.

I must say, this is the best beard oil i have ever used! Very impressed. Once and awhile ill keep a goatee and half jaw line, usually in the summer. Other than that its a full beard at mid length. I have been using Captain Thug for a month+ now while having the goatee. It moisturizes the face pretty well so i apply it everywhere, even were ive shaved. It may be in my head but it certainly does seem like i now need to shave about every other day instead of two. Thats pretty wild. The beard oil certainly does work as intended and the scent is very enjoyable. So far i have purchased the Dark Ages: a very bold and prominent scent with its muscle coming out as patchouli and fading softly into a intoxicating and pleasurable scent i can smell periodically throughout the day. Very worthy of the name Dark Ages. This is my favorite so far. Medieval: a very subtle and relaxing smell coming out of the bottle with cedar in the front of the parade, followed by lavender playing the flute. A scent i can handle all day with no qualm. Its a relaxing scent of luxury and provoking thought. Nothing about either scent ive tried is too complex or overdone. I will certainly be trying the other scents and will update this review as i do, i know not much if anything is mentioned in the reviews about the scents. Lastly, I will mention a very pleasing claim about Captain Thug, it is cruelty free!! Says so on the bottle and seems to be backed by research ive done about the company. That is a very big thing to me! Amazing product and my new beard oil.

I'm not one to put beard oils on my face (or anywhere else for that matter) just because it normally results in flaring up my eczema. This has proven to be the exception to that rule thus far. I feel i should enter a disclaimer here to say it might not work for you in the same way if you normally suffer as I do....everyones skin is different.It smells pretty good, a little woody and leathery which my partner seems a big fan of so she tells me. Which is the main thing....in also like it.It hasn't had a huge effect with the straightness of my beard but has had a minor effect after a few days usage. I suspect it has to be used long term to have the best outcome. I just have to remember to use it now.

I have used a castor oil blend which is nice, but really thick/sticky. Seems good for the hair. I also have a bottle of Honest Amish. Which is also a quality product. But this stuff?, I swear it does more good for my beard than the other two. It's also really shiny! It's also great/better smelling! Has an amazing scent! AND it's also cheaper! So, the next bottle I order will be this stuff again.One complaint: the grip around the cap is a smooth metal and a real pain, especially since your hands will be covered in oil. A twist cap with some grip would be an excellent improvement!

I have to say I'm impressed with this little gem I've spent a lot of money on beard oils in the past and have them to be absolute rubbish but with this beard oil the smell is awesome it feels great on the beard and above all else it's cheap as chips I will buy again
